Yes, Irina is also an example of a lesson in collectivism. She literally tells you that she doesn\\\'t bother maintaining her armor because only SHE would be hurt if she didn\\\'t. You are not contradicting my point.

No, no one even asked him that, so there\\\'s no way of knowing if he would have accepted it or not. Celica literally told him \\\"Rock and I will discuss the matter\\\", which she didn\\\'t. She ran off to Vandham immediately after.

[[quoteblock]]That\\\'s why Celica went to see Vandham. Becoming a BLADE doesn\\\'t mean having to fight. Hope is proof enough of that, \\\'cuz she\\\'s a Mediator who serves as NLA\\\'s \\\'Dear Abby\\\'. Prospectors don\\\'t fight either (which is the division she joined). All she needed was to sign up and she\\\'d fulfil her objective: Rock would have sanction in NLA, by law, as her family member.[[/quoteblock]]

None of which happens, again, because the story hd to make Chausson\\\'s final offer look positive by comparison. Celica ran off to Vandham \\\'\\\'to fight on Rock\\\'s behalf\\\'\\\'. She agrees to join you on missions \\\'\\\'to learn how to fight\\\'\\\'. Hell, even Hope, whom you just mentioned as a BLADE who doesn\\\'t fight, joins YOU because he finds out she can\\\'t help enough without fighting.

[[quoteblock]]No you don\\\'t. One choice is to apologize for misjudging him, the other is to simply stand down. Neither one has you kissing his feet.

The one who butters him up is Vandham, when he points out Chausson was blushing. But he still came across as an asscave for trying to blackmail Rock in the first place. He just ends up being less of one by finally being reasonable.[[/quoteblock]]

Uh, no. One choice is to say you \\\"misjudged him\\\" the other is a \\\"knowing nod\\\". Both are acknowledging his final offer as being kind. And literally EVERY character agrees with that assessment.

[[quotelock]]So is Irina, but it has nothing to do with collectivism and neither does Rock. He\'s happy that he\'s being given an option to use his strength in a way that doesn\'t compromise his principles. The fact that he\'s contributing to NLA is merely a plus.[[/quoteblock]]
