It was a manga written in Japan, and it was an anthology series, with most of the stories in it not having anything to do with one another, but taking place in the same world. The basic story is about these mechs that resemble naked human women, and are used as vehicles by this society. As it turns out, these mechs are all cloned from the remains of a fossilized human woman, and the people that pilot them are actually Liliputians, being only a few inches tall. Later in the series, a group of humans from the present day reawaken from stasis, and it is revealed that this world is a post apocalyptic Earth in the aftermath of some catacylsmic event. Also, the little people were created by this scientist, who mentally connected them to a giant computer. In the end, the normal sized humans managed to destroy the computer, and while the manga doesn't show this, it's presumed that all the little people end up dying from this. I remember this manga being very disturbing, with lots of body horror and brutal death scenes. I also remember it once being on the site, in the Liliputian trope section, but for some weird reason, it's gone now.
