I saw this game a few years ago, and actually remember it surprisingly well. It was a side-scrolling point-and-click puzzle game where the main mechanic was traveling through two different points in time to solve puzzles. The main character was an adult male (I’m pretty sure) and it was set in a dystopian, urban sort of place. The graphics were kinda minimalistic and actually pretty nice. I don’t remember anything about the story, I think it might have been told somewhat implicitly and took place before and after some sort of apocalypse? The game, or at least the part I saw, ended with the main character driving away on a dark highway. The whole thing has an ‘80s vibe (definitely not from the 80s, though), and I’m pretty sure it was an indie game. Do you know what this is? I’m sure it’s not too obscure of a game and someone will immediately recognize it.
Edit: The trope is definitely Time-Travelling Mechanic, but I don't see the game I'm looking for in the examples.
Edit: I FOUND IT! It's called The Silent Age and I want to play it now.
