There aren't many style guides that give a definitive answer to this (and there isn't a prevailing consensus among those that do), but, in the absence of that, The Other Wiki's "Manual of Style" page says not to italicise quotes except for emphasis purposes, and I've always assumed this applies to song lyrics as well.

^ Ive always done the opposite, since song lyrics are by definition quotes and we italicize quotes.

If they're at the top of the page, they get italicized unless they're part of a dialogue exchange between characters. If they're being given as part of an example, I treat them like I would dialogue and only italicize or bold anything that's being given emphasis.
