First instinct is "Shawn of the dead", which contains a scene in which the protagonist zaps through several TV stations and although each statuon has a different topic the sentence fragments you hear combine into a good news report of the zombie outbreak.
Sanity is for the weak
A zombie movie that I feel like was also a comedy. It had a decipherable plot that revolved around an infected city being cordoned off. It was interspersed with humourous news report sketch moments which discussed the progression of the disease. I think it is on Netflix (at least, in the UK).
