How long are you two taking to edit? If you spend 20+ minutes making changes, and if the other guy makes his own change past that 20 minute mark but before you finish, your changes will overwrite his.

Yeah, I've accidentally undone another person's edits when taking a long time making my own before.

Usually not that long. I don't tend to do too many edits at once.

And I don't think we're editing at the same time.

Even this is better than my RL signature.

Could be that one of you is working with an offline copy of the article, which is something we discourage.

I'm not working with a offline copy.

It isn't happening straight away, the edits last of a while, then later I notice they've been undone.

Even this is better than my RL signature.
