Could you provide an example, please? Skimming through their Destiny page edits now and not finding edit reasons of any sort.

Found one, on Destiny Guardian Classes. Basically says, "Find me the sources". A bit rude, but I don't know if I should send a notifier.

"You think you can escape YMMV with your weapon tropes?", as well as a series of deletions that I'm not sure were entirely YMMV and/or warranted.

Earlier than that, "That's flat-out copy-paste from the first game's entry. Trope misuse. I'm watching you.", in response to something that really wasn't Trope Misuse (nerd background speak incoming: the thing he removed in question still applies, as the weapon the trope was describing still has it perks from the first game's incarnation).

Perhaps I'm being rude, but the weapons tropes are notoriously subject to misuse, and no amount of cleaning will dissuade people from adding misused examples, as the history on those pages demonstrates. In any case, I'll just curtly zap edits with evidence that they don't apply, and that's that.

Expy on Characters.Destiny Guardian Classes must be more than fan conjecture to apply, and I commented out those "examples" for being totally Zero Context Example. Provide the example with evidence that Bungie deliberately took inspirations to make these subclasses as expies, then we can talk.

Weapon tropes should never have to include YMMV terms like Rescued from the Scrappy Heap, or misused tropes like Took a Level in Badass. I burned them all, and I do not expect you to try and justify adding them back without more editors pointing the flaw in doing so.

Addendum: I'll remind you that the Weapons Page back in Destiny 1 was declared illegal and cutlisted, and that a few select tropers opted to transfer the Exotic weapons tropes to the main page, and were subject to scrutiny for misuse, which I am doing now.

Ano, those edit reasons read as nasty snark at best and violating "Don't be a dick" at worst, to me and to others from the statements here. Being rude to other tropers is not allowed here.

In the objective tropes, either the trope applies or it doesn't. You can contest an inaccurate example on the discussion page, here, or in the media thread if it exist, but you do not get to be rude.

YMMV aren't supposed to be used on main pages, but you can remove those, again without being nasty.

Don't be a dick is the #1 rule here. Knock it off.
