Thanks! That's it! It had been bugging me for ages! If anyone's curious you can see it here [1]
I remember a Christmas special about a bunch of rejected toys, called "rejects" scheduled to be incinerated. After the staff left, they came to life as live action adult actors who then interacted with other non rejected toys - a bunch of toy soldiers who believed it was there duty to get "smithereened" by cannon fire and a bunch of dolls who arrogantly sang about being perfect and looked down on the reject toys. When the staff returned and they returned to being toys all hope seemed lost until a bunch of yelling children invaded the factory (toy store?) and grabbed the rejected toys and saved them from the incinerator. I recall some lines from it - "What's wrong with a reject?" from the lead reject toy and the line "We are perfect. Perfect. Absolutely perfect." sung by the arrogant male leader of the dolls. Any ideas? Would have been a BBC or ITV broadcast.
