I immediately think Charles in Charge - but would like to know more details: how long ago did you see the show, do you remember how many kids there were, was it mom and dad and/or grandparents, etc.
If knowledge is the key, then show me the lock, so I can ask someone to break it.
My wife and I seem to (vaguely) remember this Family TV Comedy, about an "fish-out-of-water" young man (small, dark hair) living with a rich family (We are not sure if he was working for the Dad - or if he was tutoring the kids?) - funny how memory works. It was really funny and witty (but that is probably all tv comedies ;-)). We were confused and thought that either the character or creator's last name was Schwartz (we looked it up - not sure why we thought that - because we found no connection). Thanks!
