The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? Got pushed down by one troper making a ton of queries shortly after I asked, so I wanted to bump this. Have a few examples, just want to double check before I add to my "future TLP efforts" list. TIA!
Do we have something for a situation where one character does something in front of another that they would normally do in private/secret, but won't/can't due to the circumstance? Often accompanied by the second character saying something like "don't mind me..."
For example, Alice and Bob are in a room and Alice needs to change clothes quickly. She doesn't ask Bob to leave, look away, or even warn him that she's about to do it. She just does it. She's not trying to seduce him, and Bob may be interested in looking but still clearly feels awkward about it.
Another example I've seen is where a junior member of an espionage organization doesn't have clearance to view a classified file, so he asks his superior officer to do it. The superior officer opens it up in plain sight of the junior member, who tries not to look.
TIA!
