Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
e: misread, one second
e2: agree, it's not representative. it should be cut. (also, it says "one" instead of "once"; typo's on the page, it wasn't you.)
Edited by ChloeJessicaFound some more on the same page:
"He took the Who’s feast, he took the Who pudding, he took the roast beast. He cleaned out that ice box as quick as a flash. Why, the Grinch even took their last can of Who hash!"
Doesn't have anyone explicity stating it's bad, this is more like Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking.
"Carmen: You hate [Zack] so much, you'd make up anything!" "George: Oh yeah? Did I also make up that he trashed the factory?! Or that he got a 16-year-old girl pregnant?!" "Angie: He didn't even care enough about that girl to use protection!"
I don't understand why this is even here, it doesn't fit the trope at all.
Yes, those two should go. The "Oh, this is bad" and "Shit just got real" quotes don't fit either — the trope is when a character unnecessarily points out that an action is evil, not that a situation is bad.
I'm not sure this Star Fox 64 example from And That's Terrible really counts:
"The evil Andross turned this one thriving system into a wasteland of near extinction. General Pepper of the Cornerian Army was successful in exiling this maniacal scientist to the barren, deserted planet Venom,"
And That's Terrible is for when a character blatantly states that a thing that happened is bad, even though you can clearly see it's bad. The quote above is just saying, "Andross nearly destroyed the system, so General Pepper exiled him."
It only seems to be here because the quote calls him maniacal and evil, but this is just emphasis, like saying "that madman." It would only count if the quote read "The evil Andross turned this one thriving system into a wasteland of near extinction, and that's an evil thing to do"
