opentv crime drama, i guess
i am looking for a specific episode of a tv show. it's a crime drama i think. a kid (maybe 13-16) is kidnapped but it turns out it is much smarter than the kidnapper and gains control over him and his actions by manipulating him. they (police?) find the kid in a dirty flat and tell him sth like he has to stay there a bit till the kidnapper comes back so they can catch the kidnapper. that happens but in the end kid is caught confessing to it, which he didn' mean to. i think it was a castle-episode but i can't find it so it probably isn't a castle episode afterall... please help ;-)
Edited by jonasBopenNot roo older show
This man was put in prison for a crime he did not commit. While there he made many friends. When he got out, he was paid a lot of money. Now he goes around helping people, often using his prison buddies to solve the problem. He drove a convertible car, taking off his jacket, folding it, and putting it in the back seat each time he drove. It is not the TV show called "Life" that was on later. Please help. Thanks
openYoung Adult Book Literature
I remember reading this book where this girl goes camping with her brother. He is killed by bees and she has to make her way out of the area on her own.
openOld Adult Swim Shorts Western Animation
About ten years ago on Adult Swim Brazil, there used to air a series of 3d animated shorts about an apparently homeless man. Also, there was no speech.
openBoy grew up around the world and moved to USA Live Action TV
There was a teenage boy who grew up with his parents around the world, like moving around. His parents died (I think) so he moved in with his uncle or family friend or something. Said person also had a son. This boy would do weird stuff like building a hammock to sleep in instead of a bed and eat weird things he used to in another part of the world. There was a mystery or something they ended up solving at an armory or something? He also wasn't very good at being the average US teen.
openTrain in the trailer?? Live Action TV
All I can remember is that there are two alternate "worlds" one is really nice and clean etc the other is rundown and the beauty is gone from it. the show is based around one guy who I believe is a cop that discovers the two different worlds exist. in the trailer for the show he is in his rundown world and sees a mirage of a train from the new world pass right in front of him
openWhat is this TV show?
So i remember watching this show a while back. I don't remember a lot of the details but there was this blonde who could see and talk to ghosts. She was inlove with this pirate ghost but they could never touch eachother. The blonde chick's grandmother or mum or whatever had a similar case to this and found a way where the living person and ghostie could touch. The downside was that when they go over into that world, years pass by in normal time. So when this blonde chick came back from spending time with her pirate ghost boyfriend, yyeeeaaarsss had passed by and she was married to some other dude and had kids and her mum/grandma had passed away and she didn't know what was going on. The hotel where her ghost boyfriend was in also burned down or something so she didn't have him anymore.
Anyone know what this show was called? Or atleast one of the actors who were in it?
openA group of people with super powers Live Action TV

openDoes anyone remember this Primary School Show? Live Action TV
I wonder if anyone remembers this TV show I'm thinking of. I watched it in primary school in year 4 (So probably around 2005/6). It followed the adventures of a grandpa and his two grandkids, a boy and a girl. They had to beat baddies every episode. There was some overarching plot of finding all the keys or something? Possibly the grandad had a pocket watch of importance.
openOld computer game about dreams Videogame
I remember this old computer game that I played on the Mac, almost certainly Mac OS 9. It was about dreams. There were several characters, probably all girls and probably wearing pajamas, and everything was drawn in a very realistic way. The game was outdoors in a woodsy, girly, magical and fairylike fantasy world. I don't really remember if there was an objective for the game moreso there was activities you could do, like writing and saving your dreams in a dream journal or using a drawing program similar to Kid Pix to draw your dream. I also remember there being dreamcatchers and maybe wood chimes in the game, maybe as the icons on the menu for the different activities?
openLittlest Pet Shop episode Western Animation
The episode begins with all the pets in a wonderful mood...except for Sunil, who's cranky about having a leaky faucet. I don't know anything else. I'm trying to find it, but I want to see it in full.
openWhat's the name of this show?

openI'm looking for a song Music
What I'm looking for is a song. I remember some of the lyrics, and I heard it yesterday (tuesday, 15th june 2016) about half seven PM at a sports direct store, if that helps at all. It's a dancey song, and the verses Some of the lyrics: ( [this] means that it might not be correct) Hook: It's going [d-d-d-d-d-d-down] ont he dacefloor (repeat until verse) First line of second verse: Poppin bottles, [notice] how we do it ([Notice] how we do it)
And that's it. Anyone know what it is?
openNo Title Videogame
I've got two queries today that I've done some looking for but have found zip.
1.) A PC edutainment game I played sometime between 1998 and 2001, though it may have come out before then. It was this summer camp program type thing where you went around to different areas (like in front of a weird cave with a sign(??) and inside a cabin) with an anthro raccoon who had you do these minigames, which the only one I remember clearly being this paint station with an easel and canvas and all sorts of templates to fill in. I also remember the soundtrack being bomb af (for a child).
2.) A little bit later, possibly between 1999 and 2003, I remember my mom being really into this dragon game where you raised it from an egg. There were all these transitions it went through like being a teen and such. The dragon sat on a cliff, possibly near a cave. For some reason my mind is correlating it with Mahjong tiles??? But that could be completely wrong. I can not remember if it had feeding actions and the like, but probably.
Thanks in advance!
openCon man falls for own scam movie? Film
I remember watching a film about a con artist (or something) in a nursing home or special care facility. He has this thing about using hypoxia to reach alternate states of being (or something) that he convinces several patients to try out, which involves his holding their heads underwater for gradually longer periods of time. Their results eventually convince him to try it himself. Eventually, there is a climactic scene where they all try together, and "succeed", swimming down into a long dark underwater corridor of bathtub stalls. Eventually, they come to a lighted passage where a glass panel blocks it off. They pass right through, in the process becoming dressed. The corridor is like the place they just left. He accosts an orderly and asks where they are. She tells him that he has to leave now. They try to go further, but find the way blocked by other patients. The orderly says that somebody will come for him. Then there is a perspective flip and we see him in a bed, in a hospital. He says, "well, I made it." or "I'm back". Then he says it again. And again. A slow zoom out reveals that he is strapped down and that his body is floppy, contorted, and grayish. His "trip" was an hallucination and the process gave him brain damage, where he needed to be moved to another facility. Fade to black
I'm sure I saw this on late night tv.
Edited by Aspr3openStories of the residents of ..... Live Action TV
In the middle of the night I woke up and my tv was on. There was a show that was hilarious. I was enjoying it so much I never checked the title. All I can remember is "Stories of the residents of..." The episode was about a gay couple that adopted an African little girl that was mute. They threw a birthday party and there was a squirrel or racoon climbing up the tree then the little girl killed it with a spear xD then another episode a female Asian but her finger up her butt then it got stained so she washed her hands a billion times trying to get it off but failed so she ended up cutting her finger off. I really enjoyed it but all I can remember is "the stories of the residents of..."
openObscure fantasy novel with 2 girls Literature
Way back when I remember getting a book from the library about 2 high school girls from our world getting sucked into a fantasy world of a book. I think that maybe one of them had written the world into existence, but I'm not sure about that detail. The 2 girls really didn't like each other in the "real" world (one of them was "popular" and the other was "nerdy") but they became good friends by the end.
There was some kind of prophecy, and they were trained by a wizard who ended up dying during a struggle in a swamp. One of the girls ended up with a baby dragon I think. Before the final battle one of them was captured by the villain, who was a nasty witch with long nails (of all the things to remember, right?) and the other went to rescue her and the fight was in a tower.
In the end one of them decided to stay in the fantasy world, and the other went home. There was also a boy involved in there somewhere, but I don't remember much about him.
I have not heard of this book since I read it, I don't think it was very popular. I think the title may have been long and/or witty. Please help me remember, this has been bugging me for years!
openD&D toon
Since my first mystery was solved, maybe someone can help me solve another. At some point in the 80's, maybe between 84 and 87, when I was between 5 and 8 years old, there was a D&D series on. I'm sure it was D&D because I wasn't allowed to watch it because of all the retarded stupidity surrounding the game, so I had to sneak watch whenever I could. It was definitely not the version that Fox Kids played. I watched some of that a while back and the characters and annimation was wrong. The animation was a style that you really don't see anymore. Like Lord of the Rings from '79 or The Last Unicorn. The one character that stuck in my head was the wizard. He was blonde and dressed in red robes. I haven't been able to find any trace of this toon and I'm sure I didnt imagine it. It was D&D or D&D like. Sound familiar to anyone?
My mum tried to remember a show she watched some time in the 70s in australia, a disney documentary about animals. In the show, a real-life situation was reported upon whereby an ocelot cub had been discovered on a farm, and raised by the resident domestic cat. The cat had other kittens and the ocelot was almost twice its size, but it still loved the ocelot like one of its own.
That's all she remembers, but we'd really like to find it. Hopefully somebody can help us! (also she's pretty certain that it's disney, but you never know, it was a long time ago)
