openNES Space shooter Videogame
When I was a kid, I had this Gameboy cartridge filled with popular NES games such as Contra, Super Mario Bros and Joust.
One of the games I played the most, however, is a space shooter which is unlike Phalanx or Galaga where the ship moves left and right, this one moves in a circular motion, orbiting the middle of the screen where the enemy appears. Does anybody know the name? Thank you in advance.
openOld Christmas show Western Animation
I remember a cartoon from back when I was a little kid. It had this little kid who was extremely selfish, and when Christmas time came, he made a gigantic list for Santa of what he wanted. Santa and the elves misunderstand the list, and assume it's for every kid in the world, and the whole thing teaches the kid about selflessness and that Good Feels Good.
openInteractive 80s/90s TV programme. Live Action TV
I remember a two part TV mini-series in the 80s or 90s but I remember it being interactive and on British TV. The first part was a two hour TV movie and revolved around a murder that took place on a space station. The movie ended with a 'to be continued' and an appeal for people to write in with votes or suggestions on how it should end and who committed the murder. The second part was then filmed and aired a few weeks later as a shorter half hour episode which wrapped up the story for everyone.
Sadly I missed the second episode as I was admitted into hospital and it was never repeated. While it was aired on British TV I can't remember if it was a British production but I think I remember some American accents. I thought it was called something like 'Murder in Space' or 'Murder on the Moon' but can't find anything like it which mentions the interactive part of it online
Edited by RetroenzoopenI don't know Anime
Okay so I remember watching this cartoon/Anima that was definitely post 2000s.
The storyline is that the mom (who is pregnant )and dad are archeologists of some sort and they excavate this tablet but the tablet gives the kid powers to control these monsters that are released. His powers are very sporadic and he has issues controlling them. They travel around in a giant blimp/airship trying to find the pieces of this tablet so that they can control the monsters and stop the antagonist from doing so. This antagonist is a typical bad guy (gray, thinning hair on the side, and wants to destroy the world). One episode I remember they find a mirror that releases opposite evil versions of themselves from another dimension. This is about all I remember thanks for any help. Oh yeah the kid uses a claw/grapple weapon in battle
open2000's Kid's TV Show? Live Action TV
From what I remember, the show is about an amusement park of some sort. There's two main characters, an animated frog and his live action human friend, who I think was named Dave. The amusement park was on an island and every episode there was a problem and you would be put into this rollercoaster and taken to different places. I think the rollercoaster took you to three different places each episode but there were recurring places. I know there was a magician and an artist and you answered questions on the way to your destination. And I'm sure it wasn't on cable. Anyone know what this is?
Edited by BroadwayBaby96openLucky backpack Film
Does anybody know of a adventure type film in which there is a character who has a lucky backpack and at some point during the film he appears to fall to his death but then is saved by his backpack strap catching on something? I'm pretty sure I saw it around the late 90s. For a long time I thought it was a jurrassic park film but then I rewatched them and ruled them out.
openMovie about aliens Film
I remember this show where these people were trying to find these aliens nest and blow it up. They find it in like a Siloh or like a big storage place. One part this guy was super confident and locked himself in a cage with I think was a crossbow so the aliens couldn't get him but he died anyway. Not much info to work with but I hope someone can help.
openA novel I read in school Literature
I remember a book I read for independent reading in school. It was about a girl whose legs didn't work, and so she was an outcast in her village. Seriously, her neighbors tried to sacrifice her as a baby because of her disability. It was a pretty depressing book, actually.
openAbout kidnappers in a modern urban setting Film
A friend showed me this film in about the year 2009. I think it was fairly new at the time (it seemed pretty modern so I'm guessing it came out at least after the year 2000). I don't remember much specific about it but it was almost certainly R-rated. It took place in an urban setting. At least one of the characters was a child, I think. I think there was a mother whose child had been kidnapped. Or maybe she herself was kidnapped. She tried to escape and was frantically going through the house of the kidnappers. She found evidence that the kidnappers (a married couple I believe) had abducted children and then killed them, and recorded it for snuff films. She found a trove of these films in a closet or something, and was of course appalled. I think she pointed a gun at the kidnapper and was fearful, but he wasn't aggressive towards her. Instead he was apologetic and he and his wife both admitted they had done something wrong and they needed help. The woman took a child with her and escaped the kidnappers. I also have a vague recollection of an outdoor (urban) scene at night, possibly with lights reflecting off a wet road. What's so memorable to me about this is that my friend told me that this movie was supposed to be a retelling of the Alice in Wonderland story, modernized of course. It was clear that it wasn't meant to be a literal adaptation, but more like how O Brother Where Art Thou is a modern retelling of The Odyssey. Maybe very loosely based on the source material and only sharing some of the themes. I thought at the time that the film seemed violent and depressing (although I don't remember any on-screen violence, just that it was implied with the child murders and all).
openUS tv show...can't remember the name of it
Hello. I need help remembering the name of a tv show. It was a tv show set in a small community somewhere in America. It was on, perhaps, during the evening and comes from the 90s or 00s. It starred a long, brown haired girl who used to work in a diner/cafe and her father may have been the sheriff. I think the daughter had some suppressed supernatural ability. There was also a mayor who had a bad-boy son and this son became friends with the girl from the diner. I think the mayor may have died and his wife took over the role. It may have been about supernatural elements e.g. werewolves but can't remember. Any help naming this show would be great. Thanks

Edited by fanwithlightopenName of the TV show where girl that left her town when she was young
Name of the TV show where girl that left her town when she was young and came back later under another name. Remember a dog recognized her (and the owner of the dog worked in a family bar that was not doing well?). She came back because of an agenda regarding her (dead) dad i think.
Edited by ScintillatingCatopen4 kids turn into cube warriors?? Anime
Im trying to remember as much as I can but it's a show about these 4 kids, it starts with a boy who just moved to the new city with his dad and makes friends with one other kid, they find an old shop with a mysterious old man, and end up taking home some small rectangular cube objects that are like a puzzle and turn into figureines. In that old shop is a transfer device where they teleport to the planet those figurines originate from, who turn out to be legendary warriors. The main kid has a red one with sword and shield and his friend had a blue one with a bow and arrow. I can't remember this show and its driving me crazy cause it was fun to watch!! The other two had a yellow one with a whip of some kind and a green one that I can't remember. The world was like earth but a cube shape.
openWeird animated movie Western Animation
When I was a kid, I watched a movie but I can't remember the name. What I'm sure of is that there were gigantic blue aliens who invaded the Earth and tried to kill people by squashing them with big rocks. Most of the humans depicted in the movie looked like cavemen. What I also remember is that most of the time, the environment wasn't very detailed and the background was plain white. One last element I'm not totally sure of: the French title of the movie includes the word Sacré (French for Holy)
openCartoon from the 90s Western Animation
Does anyone remember a cartoon about a baby, an extraterrestrial and a toy which was given life by the extraterrestrial? They would go around the space flying in a spaceship which was made of sand by the baby and transformed in a real spaceship by the extraterrestrial. And the baby's name was Max.

ive been thinking about this show for months, and googled what i remember, but i cant find it! please help me!!
This show's opening credits showed a house that opened up into a cross section of the house - I remember it being something like The Family Affair or My Three Sons. I think it was a single father/daughter but can't be sure. Driving me crazy!
