"Wh'sup?"
"Yarr, not much. Kinda bummed that ye be drownin' me crew."
"Yeah, kinda sucks."
Once, I had a thought. I liked it, so I had another. It'd be kind of funny if she had a bunch of ghost pirate friends from her past exploits.
Or, er, ghost sailors.
I didn't really expect her to be still active up to this day. And the fact that she's associated with water more than boats surprised me. I mean, how deep is the water in a shrine cleansing pool anyway? You could just be washing your face or hands or something and she'll just pop out of nowhere and hold you in? The humans of Gensokyo sure have it tough...
I wonder if she chats with Komachi or attacks her boat sometimes. I think the Titanic would be different from normal boats, as far as sinkability goes.
The Sanzu's water is not your good old H 2 O though (nothing else will stay float)...I think it'll be very different...
Give me cute or give me...something?@Shou: That's good to hear she's a pretty cool looking youkai, wonder why she is not so popular in touhou fandom must be the curvy lazors.
Well at least she now picks her victims, not that makes anything better.

The way the article is written gives me the impression that several boats have already been sunken in Gensokyo. It just seems unlikely. I'm applying the same Akyuu brand of quality to these stunning revelations. Drowning someone cleansing themself at a shrine, really.
On the other hand, I still want to see her fight Futo.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersI can imagine something like small fishing boats in the lake or something.
Or kayakers.

It is a huge lake and probably has fish but we've never heard anything about fishing boats before. Again I curse the Human Village's lack of exposited logistics.
Anyone in a kayak probably secretly welcomes the cold embrace of death anyway.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersSince Futo's boat seems to have the ability to fly, I think it might be a bit tricky to sink.
And I thought people stayed away from the lake because here be vampires. Also the presence of a certain fairy means icebergs are probably a yearlong hazard.

Heart of Stone...I wonder if she can drown human in scuba gear or space suit...

Give me cute or give me...something?I can just see it crashed on the beach and Murasa bein' all, "Damn it! So close!"
Probably. The general implication is that she's responsible for "accidents". I mean, how can you tell if it was her or not when the victims die? I'd imagine most of these are "did you hear that X-san drowned in the bath last month? Must've been that ghost."

Once, I had a thought. I liked it, so I had another. How does anyone drown in the bath? What kind of weird accident has to happen for that to be the outcome?
Heart of StoneSlipping on a bar of soap and hitting your head?
Feel free to look around. What if you fall into the tub and break something?
You slipped and hit your head, and fell unconcious while your mouth and nose is under water...
Edit: Ninja'd...fuck my stupid internet/computer thingy that make me unable to view TV Tropes forum properly...

Give me cute or give me...something?Like the Night Sparrow thing, I blame booze. So and so got night blind and wandered off the path never to be seen, must have been a night sparrow and not three bottles of sake he drank.
Dude drowned in a bath, must have been that ebul boat ghost at that temple. Nothing to do with the dude's crippling alcoholism. Or narcolepsy?
Forever liveblogging the AvengersIf falling asleep in the bath is a thing that happens to you a lot, you don't have baths. It's common sense and it won't get you killed.
Heart of Stone>Gensokyo

Oh Murasa, you murderous scamp.
Also, from a few pages ago,
Satori's always had a rose design on her dress.
"Seriously, don't eat the mermaid. And not just because it's half cannibalism." ~OtherarrowWelp◊
The pattern's more noticeable in SoPM, though.

Heart of StoneBuying baths that are "Drownable" in the first place is also pretty stupid.
Maybe the villagers should stop purchasing baths from that mysterious bath-salesperson in the sailor suit.
Once, I had a thought. I liked it, so I had another.Maybe they should just have showers. Just sayin'.
Catch a rain fairy and keep her in the attic. Then just stand naked in the garden whenever you feel the need to bathe.
Heart of Stone
Shou's a pretty cool person, then?
She shoots lasers, and one might even say she doesn't afraid of anything.
