There was "Son of the Demon" Graphic Novel which was originally an elseworld where Taila/Batman did get married and Damian was conceived with the implication that Bruce would take over the Organization. But of course heck broke loose and the pair split, in the original story Taila stated she miscarried before the split. But the last pages showed a baby boy being handed over to a set of adoptive parents and the baby was holding a necklace that Bruce gave Taila earlier in the story hinting that she lied about the miscarriage and the baby survived.
Morrison twisted this story around to give us the current comic Damian.
Mark Waid also referenced the story in Kingdom Come with Ibn.
Didn't Bruce also more or less turn the whole thing legit by keeping their front businesses up and running for the world's benefit while dismantling the whole "assassin" bit?
Disgusted, but not surprisedI cannot recall exactly its been awhile since I read the story. I don't own a copy but by friend does and last I checked her graphic novels were buried in a box in our storage area.
But I do believe you have it right that Bruce did want to 'play it straight' with Ras' organization (which may or may not have included the League of Shadows that I cannot recall) and it was Ras doing his shady crap in the background that alientated Bruce, its hinted that Talia faked the miscarriage in order to give Bruce a graceful way to exit (she wouldn't turn against her father and as long as she was pregnant Bruce would stick around so she needed to get rid of the kid somehow)
While on the topic of Ra's, I think I read somewhere that Ra's met Talia's mom while at Woodstock? Is that accurate? Because I've seen it in multiple places. Like, what was Ra's doing at flipping Woodstock? And exactly how old is Talia supposed to be? I think her character was first conceived in the early 70s, and I doubt that was part of her backstory at that time, so I assume this aspect of her character was added later on.
It....varies. But I think the current story is that Talia is of similar age as Bruce she has not used the Pits to extend her life, they have been used to bring her back from the dead a few times but not to extend her lifespan.
Woodstock was a one off comment in one comic IIRC no idea if THAT is still canon
Nyssa is Talia's older sister who HAS used the pits to extend her life, no clue if SHE is still canon
I mean, the Woodstock thing is in multiple wikis. Apparently it's from a story called "Birth of the Demon" from 1992. Don't know if that means anything or not. I guess if she was conceived at Woodstock she'd be about the same age as Bruce in 1992. But the leader of a group of assassins bent on saving the world through killing people, happens to have been at Woodstock of all places, and then slept with someone he met while there, that is just so weird.

I kinda like the idea of Ra's being prone to Villains Out Shopping. Sure, he's an omnicidal maniac who wants to restore balance to the world, but dammit, there's a sale at Penney's today, and Woodstock is coming up!
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.According to word of god (by examining the timelines) Talia's 6 years younger than Bruce in Young Justice's universe.
I feel like some of the villains are underused in S3, like Ultra Humanite. Also, since timeskip is inevitable, what do you expect in S4? Wolf being dead?
With the Legion in play, my first thought was to wonder which of their villains would be enough to bring them back to YJ-time. There's the obvious with the Time Trapper, but DC has enough time travelling villains that it's honestly a bit silly. Just off the top of my head, there's the Lord of Time, Chronos, Per Degaton, Epoch, Inertia, Reverse-Flash (Thawne), Glorith... hmm. Could've sworn I had more on the tip of my brain.
- looks*
Right, Abra Kadabra, Knodar, the Fatal Five, the Legion of Super-Villains, Time Commander, and Chronos II. And maybe Cobalt Blue..? Oh, and Mordru.
Not really enough to narrow things down much...
...you know, I just realized Katana and Metamorpho were Advertised Extras. Hell, probably even worse.
Metamorpho was well-characterized for the little we got of him. It actually reminded me of his earlier comic appearances. Katana was...yeah. Oh well. There's always Beware the Batman as their most fleshed out (animated) versions.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).The fourth season is tentatively titled Young Justice: Phantoms.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Said article also has the that Wally West isn't actually dead but was shot forward into the Legion's time.
Hopefully that's not the case, since it would really cheapen that episode which had Artemis coming to terms with Wally's death.
Disgusted, but not surprisedMy first guesses were either either something to do with Phantom Girl or the Phantom Zone.
I'm used to the unhealthy Wally obsession at this point. If some fans didn't move on after watching the episode telling us in bold letters to move on, nothing can make them.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Yeah. As much as I dislike Wally getting killed when him continually coming back when he shouldn't was a big thing for him, his death was good, and the series has been making it clear it time to let him go.
One Strip! One Strip!Phantoms could mean the Phantom Zone, in which case we might be seeing General Zod.
Disgusted, but not surprisedIf we're dealign with the Legion...do you think this will be the first animated series to have both Conner and Kara in it at the same time?
One Strip! One Strip! It’s a vain hope but I hope if we do get Brainiac 5 he looks like his Legion cartoon incarnation.
Cause I’ve always found his typical green-skinned human look like from the DCAU sinfully dull.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Have we seen vanilla Brainiac in this show at any point? I forget if he showed up in Season 1 or 2.
We saw Brainiac, or the Collector of Worlds, in the tie-in comics. He showed up a month before the start of season two.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Hmm...
That wiki page says that Greg Weismamn envisions Patrick Stewart as voicing Brainiac.
Which... well... YES.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.
Huh.
Ra’s wanting Bruce to take over the league has been a long term plot element, but I admit, the fact that there’s never been an Elseworlds story where it happens is a shock now that you mention it.
One Strip! One Strip!
