I do agree Jefferson needs help, but yeah, him choosing to stay when given the chance to leave is why I'm a little less super upset even if I do think he has the right to be angry and I do agree that he's someone they shouldn't have been involved with that initial mission. However, saying that they refused to let him leave is inaccurate. The one and done was legitimately planned as a one and done. Circumstances changed, as stated, and he was given the offer if he wished to stay on or not. He chose to stay. He chose to stay because he wanted to be involved in this conflict.

Those on their side being given a choice about whether they wish to operate in this lifestyle has come up repeatedly. With Brion and the others with Nightwing's group, he made clear none of them are forced to do anything and actively gave them the option. At most, they wanted to train them because their powers can be dangerous without self-control. When it came to The Team, those who joined it chose to, while knowing it's a covert wing of The Justice League. They knew they didn't have to. Those who decided to become Outsiders, all of them knew they were secretly cooperating with The Justice League. They just didn't know that their PR stunts got some assists.

The rest on Nightwing's side either joined The Team/Outsiders or are covertly affiliated with League related groups anyway, so it's nothing they aren't already doing.

I feel like however this ends, Dick, Bruce and the others may have soured quite a few people on them.

Not sure how to feel about that, especially from Dick and Barbara. Oracle and Nightwing are supposed to be two of the most trusted people in the entire DC universe hero community.

It's been said that if Dick Grayson told an army of heroes to gather, they'd do it without question. And everyone went to Oracle for info.

I want them to move past this and regain the trust they've likely once again lost...but I don't really know how; this is the second time they've gone behind everyone's back.

On the bright side at least Batman wasn't planning how to murder his teammates or building Brother Eye as far as we know.

Plus the whole Aqualad Artemis long con was definitely worse than secretly collaborating multiple teams and manipulation of events for some teams without their knowledge.

It wasn't just their con. Dick Grayson was the one who arranged it. Wally was part of it too, but only because Artemis refused to be a part of it unless he knew too.

Didn't say it was just their con I simply was talking about the main part of said con which is Aqualad infiltration of the light and 'murder' of Artemis which later puts her as a new Ally under a false identity working under Aqualad.

Honestly, they should have known about the Aqualad infiltration.

There were so many things that could have gone wrong with that one.

And all because they kept their mission a secret from a mind reader of all things.

Why would they do that?

Yeah not letting Miss Martian in was a strange decision to make. Though at least they had the knew to bring her in on the secret coordination of teams.

Although they had no way of knowing she was going on a mind-raping spree, but that still comes down to a lack of coordination.

M'gann abusing her powers and Conner covering it up is kind of a separate issue. At the same time, the fact that M'gann, Conner and even Jade and Sportsmaster were able to keep the con from the Light shows that there was no reason to keep it a secret from the teammates after all.

Truth be told I don't care about what the Anti-Light does because I don't care about anyone in their group. My investment is entirely with Black Lightning, who has stolen every scene he was in all season to me. Generic I Did What I Had to Do groups are dime a dozen and only work 2 ways in a story, characters like BL aren't.

The League members who were in space got anti-life'd, and at the end of the episode the Original Team members along with the Markovs and Forager were also Anti-Life'd. That's how screwed they are.

x2 Pretty much what Windona said. I would say its Great Darkness level of screwed, but in place of the whole army of Daxams its The Justice League.

YMMV as to whether or not that means the heroes have a better chance at winning or still worse off in comparison to the Legion of Super Heroes story arc.

So I guess they just deconfirmed Final Crisis. What with most of Earth kicking it if the Antilife Equation is actually used.

One of the scariest things about the Anti-Life Equation from Final Crisis was that it is not torture for the people who are subjugated by it. Anti-Life is easy since it frees people from the responsibility that comes with free will.

I hope they do Darkseid's big speech.

Uh, Wolf's in the memoirs of heroes.

I was really hoping we'd get a big Final Crisis event and Darkseid doing his speech, then a showdown with a cosmic vampire.

It'd be a major missed opportunity - they really could go into some of DC's weirder lore.

But I guess it was not to be.
