I don't agree with that decision, considering they kept only his most generic powers and mostly serves as the show's Worf Effect.
Besides, they already did that with Wally.
If they wanted to put interesting limitations on him, they could have gone with the 'Tactile Telekinesis'. They could have given him the ancillary powers without the strength or durability; using heat vision or flying at high speeds would be really tricky without the invulnerability. Heck, anime has made an entire series about making use of super strength and speed without the invulnerability.
I don't think my concerns about the writers discarding him after introducing a successor with better functionally are unfounded, considering that's exactly what they did with Bart.
So he'll be out by season 7 then.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Sounds about right.
Season 4, he gets married and retires for a quiet life.
Season 5, he's absent, but Supergirl has joined the cast over the time skip.
Season 6, he's back, tutoring a now ten-year-old Jonathan Kent in the use of his powers.
Season 7, "The Bioship was shot down over Happy Harbor...it spun in. There were no survivors."
So with Cyborg now in, almost all the characters from both the classic and New Teen Titans have appeared in some form.
All they're missing is Raven and Starfire now.
Shame Wally is dead. I'd have loved to have both the new and old Teen Titans together in animation.
One Strip! One Strip!Huh, All this time I never though of season 3 as anything more than a last hurrah to wrap up hanging plot threads. All this talk of future seasons is catching me off guard.
So what did Ocean Master bring to the table for the Light?
He seemed to be a completely pointless member like he was the villainous version of this is a "Job for Aquaman" trope
Place your past in a book burn the pages let them cook."Royal Atlantean connections" would be my guess, which would be useful - he just didn't do much onscreen with them, and then screwed something up badly enough for the others to kick him out.
So this week will be the last batch of episodes before the wait?
It appeared to be getting caught and captured. Brain and Manta were also captured and have been replaced as a result.
It's kind of funny how Manta was way better at doing Ocean Master's job than Ocean Master is. But then, it's pretty much always that way.
Literally the only adaptation with the both of them at once that I can remember that doesn't have Ocean Master turn out to be a Big Bad Wannabe while Manta outclasses him in villain cred is the Aquaman movie. And I was so used to that being the case that I was still expecting it up until almost the last moment Orm was onscreen.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. And it's almost a given that Black Manta will be the Big Bad in a sequel and overshadow Orm. Assuming Orm is even an antagonist at all in that one.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI mean, from the Light's perspective Ocean Master was a great idea for a member. He was the one who would have gotten the throne if Arthur had died, and he was working on that. And as second in command, he had a lot of resources and was able to inform them about the piece of Starro (presumably he set that up).
But when his coup failed, he lost most if not all of his connections and was washed up. And with Arthur Jr. born, he was no longer second in line. So they kicked him out.
Which makes sense. As Light members go, their value to each other and the group only extends as far as what they can do for each other and the group. No room for sentimentality.
With the possible exception of Klarion and Vandal Savage
From the way the two of them talk to each other, there seems to be a lot of respect. I get the feeling Vandal is the only one Klarion would even listen too since he's kinda chaos incarnate.
One Strip! One Strip!Shit now that YJ is a major hit, hopefully this opens up animated features & maybe even more revivals.
I wouldn't mind seeing Green Lantern or that Legion of Superheroes shows back.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."When Luthor asked where Klarion was and Vandal sighed and said he was busy with "Project Rutabaga," he said it in such a way that makes it feel like it's something he's not 100% behind. Remember when Klarion split the world into an adult world and a child world, just to steal something from STAR labs? It was insane overkill. The way Savage talks about "Project Rutabega" I get the feeling that this might be a known issue with Klarion. "Oh, you need me to steal something? Well, I'll do it in the most circuitous way possible leaving everyone involved confused as to what's going on. And I'll call it 'Project Rutabega.' Why? Because I'm the living incarnation of Chaos!"
so the red hooded ninja from the league of shadows episode is totally jason right?
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Yes
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Oh geez, Jason Todd.
There's just something about the character that irks me. Whenever he gets involved in a story I feel my enthusiasm for it drop immediately.
Disgusted, but not surprisedBatman’s greatest failure.
An ever present reminder of how much he tends to suck as a human being.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Why do people like Batman again?
TBF, Jason Todd's death wasn't quite Batman's fault. That was all on Jason Todd's mother and the Joker.
It's everything after that's the issue.
Disgusted, but not surprisedEh nothing wrong with being flawed as long as it’s in moderation.
The Red Hood is indeed a reminder.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The problem is that more often than not we get Batdick the Control Freak. And when it really gets bad, he's feeding rats to Dick Grayson Age 12.
Not a shock, him and his dad were mentioned in the last set of episodes.
