Mary was one of my favorite characters. While on my archive binge, I saw the scene with Shawn and Gus wearing racquetball clothes at his funeral. I started out by laughing so hard I could not stand up, and then I sat down and thought "I'm going to hell for that."
In other news, HERE COMES SEASON 2! SQUEEEEE
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.New Season, yay!
Henry brings Crazy-Prepared to Batman levels in the Nineties as it seems. Also: Lassiter + Lie Detector = Awesome.

"You can reply to this Message!"That was a good kick-off,though Shawn was a bit more of a Jerkass this time around, kind of back to Season 1 levels instead of the more tactful character from Season 4.
The lie-detector part was great, though they played the diplomatic immunity joke too long.
However the best part was the British kid telling off the vintage collector kid on Star Wars 'The new ones were better than those old ones'. And Gus' reaction to it

I did not see what Lassie did when he hooked himself up to the lie detector coming. And it was AWESOME.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Last nights episode may be the funniest psych episode I have seen.
"Gus does it because he has no respect for human life".
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Lol yeah!
"YOU SHOT BOBO!"
Add to that the fact that the bad guy of the ep was named Leroy Jenkins
you mean...LEEEEEEEEEEEROOOYY JEEEEEEEEEEEEENKINS. ?
"You can reply to this Message!"He even said it that way.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.The Halloween Episode this year was hilarious....and awwww, Lassie.
"You can reply to this Message!"I didn't fully understand the ending... Are they together?
Although that might be because of how late I was up watching it.
In other news, was there a single vampire work or trope they didn't lampshade in that episode?
EDIT: Forgot the spoiler tag

Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Lassie said he would wait for her until she got out of prison, so yeah.
"You can reply to this Message!"So... halfway through the sixth season! And Psych is coming back on next year. Anyone see this episode? It kind of bugged me a bit, up until the end when suddenly everything made sense.
God's in his Heaven all's right with the worldI have to give it to the people of Psych, they had me the whole episode on the "its just another man-child thing with the Nintendo"...*claps in appreciation*
"You can reply to this Message!"Yeah that had me too.
So, how about that cliffhanger?
Needs a new signature. So I've been watching through Psych for the past little while and, is it just me, or are their maturity levels just all over the place in season five? In S4 they were wacky, sure, but not to insanely stupid degrees. Hell they even seemed to be acting more mature when appropriate. Some of that even sticks around in season five for stuff like Shawn 2.0 and then... and then Police Academy happens. Okay, fine, they're wacky and more fun than the uptight cops but making popcorn during a search they shouldn't even be performing? Grabbing a guy's (presumably loaded) gun right out of his hands? Seriously guys?
I really, really hope that this is just all part of a giant arc about how suicidally overconfident the two of them have gotten over time, because otherwise I'm worried about how stupid Shawn and Gus are starting to act. Also the fact that Vick just sorta...let them off the hook without any real punishment, comeuppance, or stern words felt a little weird.

Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.Oh no! The poor blueberry car!
"You can reply to this Message!""German engineering!" "The car's from Japan." "I know, but the speed bump was made in Hamburg." I didn't much like Shawn going off like he did, but it's in-character. They even pulled off Lassie backing him up without blowing his own character. I'm looking forward to next week's episode.
That episode had more vomit than I was expecting.
Alright! A Clue themed episode!
This man is not Tim Curry and I don't know if that girl was Jane Wiedlin.
I dunno Lassie is kind of an Ensemble Dark Horse as I see it.
But I hated last years finale myself,I mean in the very first of the trilogy Yang was such a badass, and in the second she was an amusing Cloud Cuckoo Lander but with a bit Ax-Crazy,but she was still kind of badass.
Then they gave her a sob story when they had the chance to actually make an unpredictable female character,it wasn't even a good one.
Not to mention the lack of Mary who I was under the impression would do quite a bit beyond the grave, but instead he was just in one scene on tape.
I liked the Allison twist, even if it was cliche,I mean 'cmon that was even Lampshaded in the dialogue
