A Game of Gods: A Multiversal Challenge

-Eddie runs in, escorting a slightly unsteady but determined Romeo-

"Okay now, let's see the magic..."

"Juliet!" exclaimed the lad in horror. "Art thou at death's door, the Black Beast having mauled thee, and an angel now descending from God's realm, to takest thou away?"

"Oh, here we go," Jorge muttered, snickering.

"No no no, she's fine," Gordon interjected hastily, trying to avoid any sudden suicides.

"The angel's here to... uh... bring Juliet back, because she was previously in danger, but now she's alright."

Juliet frowned, looking at her love in confusion. Then a peaceful smile spread across her face.

"Nay, O beloved Romeo; I am but faint with joy to see thee at last."

The girl turned to look at Hahli.

"Thou hast mine thanks, O beneficent angel. I believe I can walk; release me, if thou wouldst."

Hahli gently lowered Juliet to the ground, as Romeo took Juliet's hand.

Narumi was not surprised to see more humans, though this just made the alternate universe thing much more confusing for him, is being a monster considered normal in their universe? Narumi shrugged it off and told himself that the monster figures were using Gaia Memories. He then found two "dopants" he did not see before, a small pink marshmallow and a cloth doll. "Hi?" Narumi said to the two of them. He then focused his attention to the titular couple. He smiled. A rather rare occurrence for those who know him a lot.

Juliet embraced her love with a joyous cry.

Ravage, having had enough of this, padded over to a corner and proceeded to cough up a hairball in disgust.

-Follows the friendly pink blob- "No....he's a robo-cat not a boyo!"

"Ah, l'amour."

As the two embraced, time froze again.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES ACHIEVED, came that same voice, and with another trip through the darkness Hahli found herself sitting back in her quarters.

"What the hell was that?" Narumi asked, his smile decreasing.

Craft sat up on his bed, his mind whirling slightly from the trip. Wasting no time, he exited the room once more.

"...Hello?"

Ravage started as everything abruptly shifted; one moment he was in Verona, the next he stood within the familiar, Cybertronian metal of his quarters.

As the jaguar looked around he noticed, once again, that the chamber had changed slightly. In the center of the chamber, between his bed and the mirror, lay a shallow pool of a shimmering silver liquid; hovering an inch above this liquid's surface was a circular, porous platform which was clearly designed to submerge itself without spilling the contents of the pool.

For once, Ravage smiled without malice. Yes, a bath in the CR chamber was just what the doc-bot ordered...

Jorge was about to burst into laughter when everything froze and the voice boomed out again.

Next thing the Spartan knew, he was back in his quarters, laying in his bed.

"Oi," He groaned as he slid out of it. The Spartan then left the room, M247H in hand. Seeing Craft, Jorge smiled and approached.

"Craft." He nodded. "Good work out there. Thanks for covering my back."

Cirno looked about confused before she remembered what was going on. She frowned that her fun was ruined now and simply walked out into the hallway again.

Gordon found himself back in Dr. Kleiner's lab. He stumbled a bit, disoriented from the sudden rush. It was different then the teleportations he'd experience before, but he recovered quickly enough.

He looked around the lab, seeing that nothing had changed, before grapsing at his back and finding that the pulse rifle, which had been halved just before the last challenge, was now mended.

Gordon left the lab and proceeded down the hallway, back to the room that the fight had taken place in.

-Yellow was instanly teleported to a bed to big for him. "What?"

"No problem. Soldiers have to stick together." Despite the deadpan delivery of the words, Craft was smiling.

The jaguar spent several minutes soaking within the revitalizing, cryogenic liquid of his CR chamber, purring contentedly as the nanites within set to work repairing his injuries and realigning his damaged hip actuator. Within a few kliks, the Decepticon felt as good as if he'd just rolled off the assembly line, and Ravage padded out of his quarters in a relatively good mood.

Now if only they could avoid a repeat of last time's impromptu scuffle, things would go swimmingly...

Narumi began to feel confused as he walked all over the place, exploring the area. "Where am I?" Narumi wondered.

"Quite so." Jorge then noticed Gordon walking towards them. "Ah, Doctor Freeman. Excellent work out there. We wouldn't have done this without your assistance."

Next, he saw Cirno. "Now where were you? You disappeared back there."

-Eddie exited his room, cracking his back-

"That went pretty smoothly, all things considered."

Gordon noted the Japanese man, and in response to his question, answered "We're somewhere outside of dimensions, in some sort of pseudo-world that can be altered by thought."

After a pause, Gordon added "In layman's terms: I have no idea."

At Jorge's compliment, he replied "Thanks, Spartan. You were pretty awesome out there yourself."
