Yeah. The members of Bruno's gang are surprisingly young.
One Strip! One Strip!I totally thought Abbacchio was like, in his 30s.

Well, when you know Joutarou and Kakyouin are supposed to be 17 in SDC, that's not uncommon for Jojo.
I assumed they were all in their mid-teens to be honest.
I mean, with Abbachio, it's less about how he looks, and more that being that young is hard to reconcile with his backstory. The hair growth alone suggests it's been a few years since he got his partner killed and the present day, and surely it took him a year or two to get that throughly disillusioned, so he would've had to join the force directly out of high school for the numbers to match up at all.
And even then you have to assume that he's been on Bruno's crew for a few months at the very most, which would be odd, given that they trust a former Cop like him implicitly but treat Giorno as a suspicious newcomer.
Well its only Abbachio who has a problem with Giorno.
Everyone else seems okay with him while Abbachio has made it a point to act like an ass towards him.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I totally thought Abbacchio's thing was that he was a lot older than everyone else in the gang, which is why Narancia, Fugo, and Mista regard him as the Team Dad. The joke is that, while Abbacchio is usually pretty quiet and reserved, he makes for a terrible Team Dad because he's just as chaotic and crazy as they are, and he doesn't give a fuck one way or the other if they're misbehaving.
Well, he is older. Just not dramatically.
But yeah, most of the group has no problem with Giorno aside from that early bit of hazing.
Speaking of "hazing" (heh), I believe Man in the Mirror is next, right?
... And that's called jazz!Yes. Little Feet, Man in the Mirror,Grateful Dead and Beach Boy, Baby Face and White Album is the order iirc. You can take your guesses for the loc names.
Mirror-Man, Thank You Zombie, Shore Man, Young Expression, and Pale Song.
Woah, we've still for a way to go before baby face.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Mirror Man, Purple Smoke, Coco Large, Thankful Dead, Fisher Man, Baby Head, and White Ice.
I look forward to the localisations.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Man in the mirror is the last "meh" tier fight until like, the last 4th of VA. It's a golden ride for a while after it.

Agreed, though I like the ending of that fight.
Abacchio's backstory actually explicitly said he joined the police force right out of high school.
We don't have many opportunities to see Purple Haze in action and Giorno's solution is so creative and BS at the same time that I love it, so I'm looking forward to Man in the Mirror myself
... And that's called jazz!Well, this is easily one of the best episodes of the season yet, and the expanding david did on the execution squad is amazing and appreciated. It's like "dio's parrot is now petshop" but even better. Dat foreshadowing(speaking of, I hope new watchers catch on to the forshadowing included earlier episodes).
Also I've said it before but pesci is one of the ugliest Jojo characters ever lol.
Don't bully Pesci. He's a good boy.
But yeah, showing all of La Squadra now as well as Ciocolota and Secco was surprising.
I am watching Stardust Crusaders (never mind that I watched Diamond is Unbreakable before doing that) while watching Golden Wind. Given how fights are super short in Stardust Crusaders, I expected Formaggio to be defeated by the end of this episode.

Man, I don't know why they keep calling Formaggio's ability useless. Several of them have abilities that are considerably trickier to use effectively, and if you can't think of potential uses for the ability to shrink things, you don't have a very good imagination.
Oh that expansion on the hitman team was great. Love seeing them all as a group instead getting introduced to them one by one, makes them feel more like an actual team. And I'm already itching to see Cioccolata get Muda'd. What a sick fuck.
I always really liked this battle because it reverses the usual Jojo formula and has the villain trying the figure out the hero's stand power.
Narrancia really is much smarter than he acts.
Kinda reminds me of Polnareff, or I suppose Okuyasu. Seem kinda dumb, but use their powers pretty well (though it's stated Okuyasu still doesn't use the hand to it full effectiveness).
One Strip! One Strip!
Wait, Mista is 18? He's always struck me as a adult.
Three of the five are actually teenagers.
