I was watching a review, and it mentioned "cinematic" combat flourishes. But that made me wonder: does any movie ever use those kinds of effects in fight scenes? I can't remember ever having seen a movie that replicated that sort of combat effects.
Optimism is a duty.itmight be reffering for those cuts/scenes where Sora tarnsformshis keyblade, does an attraction flow or uses a finsiher. Come to think of it,I think II also cade cinematic scenes with the bosses' reaction commands and Limit finishers (the former is unsurprising as they are basically QT Es)
III is available for predownload if you're getting the digital version. The Day 1 patch was also pushed out early for you lucky few that already own the game.
Dubs of the Memory Archive videoes are now on the official Kingdom Hearts YouTube channel.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Not sure if this was share on here earlier, but;
EDIT: What I consider most interesting is the bit about DLC; "I haven’t reached a decision, but for paid DLC I don’t think it would be divided content [T/N: published in separate DLCs, such as episodes], but we can provide something with high content all at once. Plus, apart from that, we are also considering publishing them for free. I would like to give priority to the next work rather than doing DLCs for a long time."

The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.Speaking of DLC, what do you guys think the DLC will be? This is uncharted territory for Kingdom Hearts.
Personally, I wouldn't mind DLC keyblades? Like, maybe packs for different titles with a couple of the most popular keyblades from that installment included?
Like, a Kingdom Hearts 1 pack with Oathkeeper, Oblivion, Ultima Weapon (KH 1), and maybe one or two others (Always been partial to Divine Rose or Lion Heart?). A KH 2 pack might have Bond of Flame, Two Become One, Destiny's Embrace, Way To Dawn, and Ultima Weapon (KH 2). I could also see a BBS pack with Brightcrest, Lost Memory, Chaos Ripper, No Name, and Ultima Weapon (BBS).
If they really wanted, a more generic Disney Pack would be welcome. I'd probably want Divine Rose, Wishing Star, Decisive Pumpkin, Hidden Dragon (Since there isn't a Fire based keyblade?), and then I'd probably pick Stroke of Midnight, Fairy Stars, and Hyperdrive from BBS.
I honestly don't know what to expect from DLC though.
Well, Critical as a start.
Then some patches for smoother performance on the regular consoles instead of just their pricier versions.
Then NG+ with other characters with their own abilities(asking too much here lol?)
Then some bosses and extra abilities.
Secret SignatureAlongside new Keyblades, I could see some new summons (Jack Skellington would be a Darkness element summon, for instance, and maybe finally give us the Bahamut summon that we never got in KH 1) Bonus bosses and a Mirage Arena.
Watch SymphogearI would be ok with Mirage Arena as long as there's cross-play. My brother-in-law has a X Bone while I have PS 4 and I'd love to battle him.
lol. I remember back in the day on PSP with BBS when I finished the game as Terra and my best friend wanted to fight me... after only having completed the first three worlds and unlocking Mirage Arena.
It was hilarious how he was just almost constantly stunned. He even passed to the game to a friend older than both of us who was DETERMINED to beat me.
Which made it even more hilarious when he could do nothing.
I would love more Worlds added as DLC, but realistically I think at most we'll get more Keyblades, more Difficulty Modes, and maybe more Bosses.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.Would we ever see brand new keyblades? Like ones based off of movies we probably wouldn't see worlds for?
INB4 Phineas and Ferb Keyblade. lol
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. Please for the love of god no.
a Gravity falls world would have been neat
New theme music also a boxEven in Kingdom Hearts, some doors should be left shut and locked.
I came up with an idea a while ago for a multi-phase Bill Cipher boss. First you'd fight a possessed OC (probably Riku or Terra), then regular Bill inside their mind, then the nightmare Bill from the finale.
Really there's a lot of potential if they want to add Disney TV shows.

or broken and fed into a wood chipper
New theme music also a boxThis series isn't really designed for PVP so I'd rather not have that.
More Keyblades, actually implementing Critical, and more bosses all seem very likely for smaller updates. A major update would probably include an extra Disney world or some other side story.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?If they did add an extra World via DLC, I'd imagine it'd be an Original World meant to foreshadow IV.

The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. That's also a possiblilty.
So based on the coutndowm timer displayed on my PS4, I'll be able to play the game tomorrow night at 9:00 PM (PST). So that's cool.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Considering how KHIII doesn't have any Final Fantasy characters, I'll wager that Radiant Garden will be DLC.
There's a few reasons I think that (mostly spoiler reasons) but Square Enix charging extra for Final Fantasy characters is right up their alley.

"Hey wait a minute why is this world a race track? Oh God it's the Cars world!"
New theme music also a boxSo Osaka strikes again with being terrible. You only do chip damage when playing Level 1 because there's no scaling (BBS flashbacks intensify), and nothing the game provides for stat boosting helps at all.
Edit: bizkit047's impressions of the game. No spoilers. I'll probably do a Proud run now since it doesn't seem too bad if you're properly leveled.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?"Original" as in "Not based on any Disney property". Probably a town, if I were to guess.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.x9 and x7 Agreed. I just don't like the idea of branching into TV Shows or the DTV movies or anything. Particuarly since the DTV movies are a VERY DARK DISNEY ERA that should probably be safely forgotten.
The series has had PVP combat before and I wouldn't mind it returning. Mirage Arena was pretty harmless and didn't distract and if it can keep players in the game for longer and, godforbid, socializing and making friends, I don't see much of a problem.
I don't know how a Disney World would integrate into the game if just for size reasons and then, well, it'd be the Odd World out as it has no story place or purpose. Also I don't know how I'd feel about world choice, especially since I'm already uninterested in nearly every world they picked for the base game. Pick a niche world like Atlantis or Treasure Planet: Woo! Its finally here but its DLC never to be mentioned again! Do a big flashy popular world and... I probably won't care.

No Story spoilers, but here's a guy with the JP version of the game explainign the combat differences between KH 2 and KH 3
Bascially, despite not being as weighty, KH 3 doesn't need to be, because there are so many options in the air that its ridiculous, with various different animation cancels that aren't in KH 2, and actually being able to attack, dodge, block, air dash into glide and then block, etc, in the air as much as you want is a blessing in disguise.
