... New Super Mario Bros Wii is supposed to have uncreative level design? The game where almost every single level has its own gimmick?
And I thought it was supposed to be hard! I was all proud of beating it 100%, too! .__.
Where's Lost Levels?
I find his judgments totally off the mark. Does he really find the Star hints in Super Mario 64 "inscrutable"? Every other Star is basically "go here" or "collect 8 red coins". And one of Sunshine's best virtues is its tropical setting? Yoshi's Island's first asset is that you play as Yoshi? What stupid standards for rating games.
Here would be my ratings:
1. Super Mario Bros. / Super Mario Bros 3 / Lost Levels (in roughly that order, but I like them almost equally)
4. Yoshis Island
5. Super Mario 64
6. Super Mario World
7. Super Mario Bros 2
I haven't finished Sunshine but it wouldn't rank above World. I haven't played either Galaxy game.
