Yeah, I've been the taller one in all my relationships, and that made me a bit jealous.
I'm a 5 foot 10 lesbian. I'm statistically taller than 99% of my dating pool. But to be fair, that just makes the women taller than me even taller.

Anyone can be the little spoon. The direction you spoon has nothing to do with the size of the people who are spooning.
I guess Claire is telling everyone else about Clinton's sexuality and he hasn't noticed yet? That feels a bit off.
I think it's not about any fear of mom freaking out but rather "omg dinner with parents is making it all OFFICIAL"
Yeah Clinton is yet to actually label himself in the comic. He's yet to call himself bi or queer and I think the idea of verbally committing to it has him a bit spooked. (it's okay Clinton, it doesn't have to be a commitment, you can just try on the label for a bit if that's more your speed)
Also my wife says that when I'm the little spoon (despite being 7 inches taller than her) she's not big spooning, she's jetpacking.

God, this comic is so much better when the early characters speak their minds and then make a joke. Holy cow.
Much as I’ll defend the choice to move the focus along to other people... Yeah. I am always holding out hope for a new arc focusing on Marten and Claire (pls just let me see Claire run into her dad for an arc of messy family dramaaa)

Does Faye actually know Clinton's mother? I wonder if Claire might have mentioned her reaction to her transition, but even they haven't really interacted that much.

This absolutely feels like filler. No, but like the entire character has been given no role in the story sofar except fill out the silence between plot point.
