Ok Miya-chan.... You are a bigger pervert than your brother....
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Hot springs episode. Fanservice everywhere.
But aside from that, it's nice to see the girls one last time. Smiled all throughout the episode. Really, just seeing the girls up to their antics was fun. Tsukasa even showed a bit of her dark side~
Anyway, my arc preferences for the second season are:
Rihoko > Kaoru > Morishima > Nanasaki > Tsukasa > Sae
Kinda disappointed that my favorite girl's second season arc isn't as good as the others, but hey, that's part of the risks of using the omnibus format.
So there. Really sad to say goodbye to this show for real.

Watching the First Ai arc, I've noticed something rather interesting.
There's a scene in the Library in the second of Ai's episodes (Episode 14) where, it appears, that Ai and Tsukasa appear to be sizing each other up for a few moments — remember that both of them take the initivate when it comes to Junichi. There are also a few other moments that make we wonder, well:
Is Tsukasa already interested in Junichi before her arc begins?
Keep Rolling OnThat's an interesting theory. Personally I think that's just what happens when Ai's perceptiveness meets Tsukasa's "secret".
It's implied that she is in the game, as I recall.
Makes you wonder what she put down about him in her Black Book, doesn't it? No wonder why she doesn't want him to see it...
Keep Rolling OnSo, I stumbled upon this anime somehow, and watched two episodes so far.
I don't know what about this anime, but I really love it!
Morishima kind of feels like Haruhi Suzumiya, only infinitely less annoying (to me, at any rate).
Also, Miya is just painfully adorable. She really does remind me of a kitten.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Being less annoying than Haruhi is a trivial feat.
Ep 3.
......Goddamn, I don't even know what to say, especially on the matter of kissing behind her knee.
I love that music that plays whenever silly moments happen.
Also, Miya going "oh crap" at Junichi giggling was cute and hilarious.
My favorite moment would have to be, when Haruka and Junichi were playing that weird event, two students in the background were pointing at them, going all "Dafuq are they doing?"
Man...I'm loving this anime.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I thought about two thirds of the arcs were pretty good.
Watched ep 4 and watching ep 5 now.
The ending and the circumstance that led to it felt a bit too contrived, but it was sweet. I do like the whole giving an ending for every love interest route the anime is taking.
Episode 5. Oh man, I think I'm going to love this even more than the frist one.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Just wait until you get to the last arcnote ...
Keep Rolling OnFor some reason I'm more interested in hearing your opinion of the arcs I didn't like.
Whose Opinion?note
Keep Rolling Ond Roy. I think basically everyone liked the first two arcs and the last one with the three in between being somewhat more contentious.
From what I heard, Ai is the best girl, while Ayatsuji route is best adapted, Sae's route is mediocre, and Rihoko got the worst end of the stick.
I guess I'll wait and see. Currently, I'm loving Kaoru arc.
Navel kiss. Now that's something. It's not particularly ecchi, yeah, but it just amuses me so much. I think it was the whole Junichi actually licking it and Kaoru smothering his face with her shirt, while Miya is watching all of that.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. The only routes I bothered watching were Haruka and Sae's because I liked their designs the most.
Ai as best girl? Don't think I've heard many people with that opinion. I'd probably say Ayatsuji or Kaoru myself, though it's not like Ai is bad.
I really don't remember Sae's arc much because I just disliked her character immensely, so I can only think one scene and the ending. Oh, and Nakata Joji is apparently the narrator but it's basically the one role of his that I wasn't impressed by. As far as Rihoko goes I was just completely uninvested so I didn't care that the ending kind of sucked. Apparently SS+ or whatever builds off of it, but I only watched the first episode of that.
^ Aw, come on. You should have at least watched Ayatsuji's. Her route had one of my favorite kinds of reveal in it.

Ah, I see. The anime community I follow likes Ai the most, with either Kaoru or Haruka second.
Either way, two episodes in and already she's great.
Sae...her voice is a bit too...hmm...Mikuru-ish for my taste, but I'll see.
Oh, and I remember seeing a screencap, involving (who I assume is) Ayatsuji pulling on Junichi's necktie...while wearing swimsuit. Inside a classroom.
I don't know what's the context, but I long to find out.

Eh. I'm not really interested in her based off her design so...
^^ Well, Kaoru and Ayatsuji is just my personal preference. From what I recall, the most consistently popular girl was Kaoru, though she didn't have die hard fans like Rihoko etc.
And yeah, Sae is your standard shy girl with no self esteem that can't speak above a whisper. She never had a chance. The only strike she didn't have against her from the start was being a yandere or something.
^ You make me sad. So be it.

She's cute and all but Haruka and Sae's designs outweigh her for me. -Shrug-
That's not really what I meant. I mean, I guess her appearance is pretty boring and all, but judging a character based off the appearance alone seems kind of odd to me. I mean, I could understand if you said you didn't feel like watching Amagami at all because of character designs or you only watched Haruka's route and then dropped the anime, but you must have liked it at least somewhat to have gone through two arcs that weren't back to back.

I figure the whole point of Amgami SS specifically is to choose the girls you like and/or find attractive and watch their arcs and as much as I do like Ayatsuji's design I don't like it as much as the designs of the two girls whose arcs I did watch.
I've quickly flicked through it: Everyone was on top form; even Umehara and is Aside Glance during his "Lonely Night". Also, Maya's spluttering before the speech was rather funny, and Tsukasa letting Junichi go for it — well, it looks like Junichi and Tsukasa still are friends of a sort, regardless.
