I mean, I just wouldn't see the point. Nothing has ever been made of that curse since Zoro got it. The point being made about Zoro wielding one has already been made, so it's not like adding the other two says anything else. Well, unless you assume the curses "stack" for some reason.

The curse was indicated to be something that Zoro basically broke or overpowered through sheer force of his own destiny or whatever the moment he picked it up. After that the only thing said about it is that it's an aggressive sword. And if Zoro has the luck to overcome a curse, then I can't see how it would trouble Luffy at all.

Japan does have a practice of reclaiming all genuine, appraised samurai swords that had been taken from the country and spread around the world. With that in mind, I can imagine that Zoro will have to return Ryuma's sword in this arc, but with blacksmith tengu guy's explicit permission, he gets to keep the kietsu in return.

There's no way he gives up wado ichimonji, though, unless the series presents it as a "bad"/"rogue"/"dark side" sort of decision. Like, maybe having two kietsu swords makes him crave the third? Beyond some special circumstance like that, it would run contrary to everything that is Zoro to give up Kuina's sword.

I don't see any reason for Zoro to give up Kuina's sword, since it has a very important meaning to him, just for the sake of having three cursed swords. I'm not even sure if Zoro will have to take Luffy's cursed sword and I can't tell if Zoro will keep Shusui (I wouldn't be surprised in both cases). Btw, as already pointed out, it's been so many time since speaking of "cursed swords" (something like 700+ chapters, if I recall) that I've almost forgot about it.

[up][up][up][up] You're right. Officially, he's a straw hat, maybe Oda will draw him once Jinbe is finally reunited with the crew, which I hope will happen in this arc. P.s. I'm really loving these lasts color spreads with the Straw Hats

I still think he's just going to replace his current Kitetsu with the next best one, testing his luck against each one as he gets it.

If he does somehow end up losing Wado Ichimonji, I still think the most likely way would be him giving it to Tashigi. It'd be kind of bringing their weird relationship full circle — Tashigi did vow to take the sword from him. But yeah, it's probably more likely that he keeps it all the way to the end, now that I think about it.

It's just...three sword style. Three Kitetsus. It just...fits.

This will be a good time to explain/show off more of Hawkin's abilities. Neither Zoro nor Luffy should know what he can do.

[up]Perhaps Shakky showed them everyone's wanted posters? If not, this is definitely an oversight on Oda's part.

Come to think of it, the only rookies that the Straw Hats met were Kid, Killer, and Law, plus Bonney met Zoro exclusively. Kinda weird, I guess; for some reason, I had it in my head that they'd all met at one point.

We don't know specifically how the voodoo dolls are made. It could be something that requires more prep than just a touch.

I'm curious about his fortune-telling. Anyone want to bet that it's a very special application of observation haki?

Ryuma himself bequeathed Shusui to Zoro, the sword is by all rights his since the original owner himself gave him his blessing to use it. So I don't see any reason for him to give it up.

Wado Ichimonji is still his primary sword and his great sentimental value to him, so unless something pretty big happens this arc, he isn't giving it up.

That leaves his first Kitetsu sword, which while having some thematic value as the first cursed sword he acquired, it's also the one with the least thematic relevance. Its also the only sword he has that's of a lower grade than Ichimonji and Shusui, so him getting the new Kitetsu makes sense to replace the older one.

Technically that was Brook's shadow in Ryuma's corpse. We don't really know what the real Ryuma's perspective would've been.

There seemed to be some intentional gray in how much it was just the victim's stolen shadow, and how much was supposed to be the actual person's influence, but we were definitely supposed to take the blessing as meaning something, so it would be weird to go back on that.

The Nidai Ketsu though, you have the descendent of the guy who made it in this arc. I'm sure by the end of it Sandai will be destroyed and Zoro will get his blessing to take it.

[up][up][up] Technically no, the Ryuuma Zoro fought was just a body being animated by Brook's shadow. "Ryuuma" did not consider himself to be the actual samurai and even apologized for disgracing him through defeat.

I feel like the Shogun will destroy the Sandai. I'd actually initially thought that he'd have the Nidai, and Zoro would take it after beating him.

Some people have hypothesized the Shodai Kitetsu may have been so strong of a sword it was divided into two halfs the Nidai Kitetsu and the Sandai Kitetsu and this swordsmith will merge them together to create the Shodai Kitetsu for Zoro as his 3rd sword.

Also regarding why cant kaido die, I think a big part of it is kaido wants to die but not from some lame way. Like for instance eating 2 DF's in a row or anything like that. Of course there's a chance he literally cant die from anything but I feel as he wants to go out in a blaze of gunfire or other cool way.

The Shodai is said to be equal to Mihawk's Yoru. Prevailing theory is that the samurai-looking member of the Five Elders has it.

People are actually talking about "Tama for crewmate" seriously. Okay then...

Though I would actually like them meeting and older Kunoichi to join them. Because I've said before I think rounding out the crew with someone on Wano makes sense.

Yeah, I'm just rolling my eyes at that. Tama will probably be the Conis/Shirahoshi/etc. equivalent of being the arc-specific character who's ultimately the closest to the crew by the time things are said and done (aside from Momonosuke) and while I am of the opinion that the crew will be officially complete by the arc's end, the final Straw Hat is not going to be a little kid. People who say that have clearly forgotten Pedro's flashback with Gold Roger recently in chapter 878, or even the very first chapter of the series!

I wanted to quote what it was said in the One Piece report, but the reporter simply sang that this last chapter was crap (and, expecting the audience reaction, said that he read it 10 times) and there wasn't even a theory.

No, he didn't explain why it was crap. I guess he simply didn't like it.

What exactly would Tama's role even be if she joined the crew? This is a pretty out there wild mass guess even by wild mass guess standards.
