Are people seriously citing Japanese cultural standards for a scene that only exists in a localized version?

That's pretty weird yes, but it ends up falling into another bad anime cliche/fetish in their attempts to fix another tired anime cliche of sexually assaulting homosexuals. Something something Irony.

I wasn't gonna get Royal anyway, at least not until there was a sale that put the price in a reasonable area.

Atlus' continued stupidity makes that decision way easier.

Crossdressing is cool and good and Nanashi from SMTIVA is the best SMT hero because he can put on a sexy wig and dress.

There's plenty of cool crossdressers in anime, though. I never had a problem with any of the crossdressing stuff in Persona.

The only reason I'm not getting Royal is because it's not available on the Switch. Otherwise, I'd buy it to see the new plot related things. Whether I get Scramble or not though depends on how heavily it leans into Dynasty Warriors style gameplay.

I'll probably get Strikers, since I'm a fan of Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem Warriors... and I never got a PS 4.

From what I understand, Scramble is more of an ARPG than Musou.

It's only a Musou in like regards to fighting large waves of normal enemies but that's it. The Bosses and Elite Mook/Midbosses are way tougher than named characters are supposed to be in these kinds of game.

Since said bosses aren't playable they don't have to fight like playable cjaracters either.

Think the Monster Bosses from the Zelda Musou, but way tougher and faster and you got the SMT demon design midbosses.

From what the trailers have showed, it looks pretty similar to Kingdom Hearts gameplay-wise.

Oh yeah strikers is coming soon, I've been avoiding spoilers like the c-virus.

How is the gameplay different from hyrule Warriors and Fe Warriors? Aside from more challenging mini bosses?

Goes to Persona 5 Striker's page on the SMT Wiki and sees that there is no US release date scheduled

Then again, it also means that if it doesn't get a US release, only importers will have to contend with the Hot Springs and the overused tasteless gags that go with it.

They probably can't do much to work on the localization, considering what's going on in the US.

If Persona were to ever go multiplatform. I’m betting that they’ll poke fun at how the series was mostly Play Station exclusive despite demands for ports in a trailer with a simple “Kept you waiting, huh?”

I spent all day playing Royal, from 2:30 AM to now actually. Glad I didn't look up everything in the new version, because the new mechanics were nice surprises this time around.

I won't pick it up until...eh, Friday probably.
