The premise is simple. You write one part of the story from the perspective of one point in time and the second part that takes place at a latr date.

Can we do it backwards, too? Start with one part in one point in time, and then have the second part take place earlier? And are you limited to only two points in time?

Sure. Yeah. And I don't see why you should limit yourself, write as many time skips as you want.

If I have to drop because of school, though, I'll make sure I tell you.

Start with one part in one point in time, and then have the second part take place earlier?

Close enough for now. Will be interesting to see what you do though.

I've already got something about that theme but it's a bit sketchy. It is about the time a man and his brother listen to the radio all day to try and listen to Green Day's new single, American Idiot, but sadly it fails to meet their expectations.

It is about the loss of innocence as portrayed by cynicism towards music the radio plays.

Does that count?

^^ As long as it has a clear Now and Then part then yeah.

^ Judges have to read all stories and then judge them. That is the only requirement.

I just wanted to make sure you understand that I plan on being part of this. I am already writing a story for this, in fact.

You could post it here or in Writer's Block. Or you can provide a link to another writing site like Fiction Press or your Livejournal or something.
