Karl: How did you end up meeting someone like her anyways? I thought most paladins would be...well, smiting any daemons they encountered.

Starling: "Yeah, what Lust said. That and just smiting demons because they are demons is like, extremely racist." >_>

Karl: I only know enough anecdotes that I have no idea if that's true or not, but I'm certainly taking both of your words for it. Daemons must be considerably tamer in your lands than they are back in the Old world.

Lust: "What are we like in the old world? I don't think I've ever met the 'stereotypical' sort of demon people talk about in the flesh, come to think of it."

Karl: Hrmmm, well, considerably taller, considerably more colorful, considerably more mutated, considerably more corruptive, and certainly considerably more homicidal.

...Sometimes considerably more dead whenever a dwarf daemonslayer comes along, but that's what happens to any who cross a dawi's path.

I've admittedly rarely seen them in person, only fighting their human warriors from the north. But their followers seem to portray them on their banners as hulking beings with equine faces and the horns of a bull, or sometimes a grinning bloated green horror akin to an overstuffed fly. And one time, a drawing along the lines of a glamorized young strumpet...who just so happened to have claws in place of a hand and snakes for hair.

Lust: -nods- "I see. Where I'm from, demons often have the ability to take different forms. Usually they have a more humanoid form, and then something a bit less on the human side. For example..."

Lust suddenly transforms into a huge, not at all human 9 tailed red fox.

"Ta da! Not quite as sexy - except to a very particular crowd I suppose - but it's nice and floofy!"

Karl: No kidding! You're much like one of the elves from the woods, or so I have heard. They too assume the forms of the animals native to those lands. And you are definitely...well, fluffy. Extremely so, actually.

Lust: -makes a "murr" noise- "Aw, thanks! So Karl, what brings you here? You seem a bit straight laced for a place like this, no offense."

Karl: Well, to be honest, it wasn't quite my first choice. I'd just lost my job while I was in the area. And there really isn't much way for a man and his good griffon friend to go all the home from a place such as this. So I suppose I'm just sticking around until I can figure out what to do next.

If Six was inconvenienced in any way by a clone of Asagi Asagiri hanging off of her shoulder, she certainly didn't show it. "Honestly... I could be doing a lot better than I currently am," she groused. The loss of Kerberos had hit her hard.

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."

Lust: "Ah. Well, there's plenty of things for a spry young man like yourself to do here. You could go to the Love Hotel, The Pleasure Dome, Flooftown..."

Lust lists off several more places that sound suspiciously like brothels.

"Or, uh... I guess there's other stuff, too. >.>"

"I bet there's probably some bad guys you could fight. There usually are when it comes to the people I travel with."

Karl: I'm...admittedly attempting to cut down upon any carnal activities lately. Although I will have to keep those places in mind. *cough*

But it does sound like some "bad guys" are certainly on their way here...
