Somehow, the old thread for this trope disappeared from the Repair Shop, but nobody who posted in it liked the current title.

Anyway, despite how common and frequent this trope is in visual storytelling media, this page only has 15 wicks (the large majority of which are just related trope pages) and only 30 outside referrals.

Suggested renames in the last thread included Miraculous Parking Space and Conveniently Empty Parking Space.

I am totally familiar with the phrase Rockstar Parking, which means exactly "empty parking space right in front, score". But the name is myopic. Redirects at least.

[up] Same I have heard the term used many times before. (In real life never about a movie though.)

[up][up] Those 2 both work as great redirects.

[up] Yeah, it is a phrase from real life used to describe something that happens really often in media: there is conveniently an empty parking space at a character's destination.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.

I've heard the phrase used in real life, but never in media. I do think some redirects would be nice though.

Characters in media don't usually say "Kick the Dog", either. Just saying.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.

I Thought It Meant screeching to a reckless halt in a dangerous and possibly illegal manner. Because of, you know, the rock star part. But then, I haven't been driving for more than a year. Perhaps I'll come across the stock phrase more with age.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.

Yeah, this should be for redirects, not a rename. The term has been around for a long, long time both here and off the wiki.

I added some redirects since redirects are free.
