Apologies for the double-post.

Remember that one yuri dungeon crawler game I mentioned a few pages ago, Witch and Lilies? A new trailer just came out that confirmed it will be available on 5/24 as an Early Access game.

This trailer also still has the "Clawler" typo.

It being Bandai Namco, it'll be $59.99 and stay at that price forever, barring the rare Steam Sale

Seems like the choice for now is sifting through a bunch of dubious RP Gmaker games.

So, I have not read or watched much GL lately (if any of these season shows turn into one is a question yet and I do not watch Sasa Koi).

I am reading Kaijuu-iro No Shima which is pretty good but even after it switched from tri-monthly to bi-monthly schedule, it is still super slow getting a 15-page chapters every time.

So, just on a whim I picked the Android wa Keiken Ninzuu ni Hairimasu ka?? manga. So, it is like of super lewd and "everybody is gay" variety but one of the better written ones.

Near future. A 28 y.o OL working for robotics company, who is super reliable at work but turnes into lazy hard-drinking party girl at home and has a bad habit of buying random things while drunk purchases a housekeeping robot... who turned out to be a super advanced sex-bot looking like a young adult girl. You can guess how it ended despite MC being very overt to the whole situation (because sex-bots and way to human-like robots are illegal in the setting and because she does not like the idea of being in relatiojnship with someone programmed for it). Or, and there is also a younger collegue with a crush on MC (but she is more of a comedic side-character) and classic childhood friend (21 y.o.) who is a love rival.

Looks like pretty cliche fanservice GL but at least the art is good, the characters are decently written and there is even an intrigue with our androids "mother" (some mysterious blond female inventor who arranged the whole thing but does not want her creation to embrase the real human feelings). Will read it further because it is cute (even if really lewd) without overbearing drama.

-Looks back a few pages-

I consider Symphogear's biggest problem to be the writing in the earlier seasons. Like, the first season was made on basically a shoestring budget and that really didn't help, the second one the writers appeared to be fighting themselves, and then GX full into a kinda predictable rut. AXZ and XV didn't have those problems, and also had the benefit of the writers actually expecting a follow-up to AXZ so it didn't wind up nearly entirely self contained.

Although, in the strictest sense, not yuri, since nothing was ever confirmed. Although at that point the subtext had gone so far over the line it stopped counting…

Started reading Usotsuki Hanayome to Dousei Kekkon-ron (hurrah for slow updating), and then I realised it was Kodama Naoko again. Melodrama ahoy… [lol]

[up][up][up] Eh? It's less than £20 right now.

So, is anyone else reading The Fed-Up Office Lady Wants to Serve the Villainess?

It's about an office lady who gets isekaied, and ends up in service to the villainess.

What I find interesting, is that the Villainess is an actual villainess (although she hasn't done anything completely irredeemable yet), but she still gains the protag's loyalty through showing that she appreciates and sees worth in her.

I've been reading it, also it sad that a villainess being a villainess is starting to feel like a novelty.

[up]I imagine that's to do with concerns about maintaining audience sympathy.

Sure, but it most stories have done that through development.

It feels like some stories that slap on the villainess label on saint like characters simply because the story "needs" one, meanwhile characters like Claire and Hesha at least do the minimum before trying to become better people.
