Holy shit, poor Woolie
I think we need to make another David Cage bingo for this one.
Already ahead of you. (Though this is something I found on the Reddit sub for them, it isn't my own invention. Thanks, Nabs 2099!)

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.magic force babies!
New theme music also a boxain't that just anakin
No, he's the magic force baby killer :p
He kills not just the men, but the women and children too. He does not discriminate based on age.
It's been 3000 years…A bingo chart needs at least 25 squares.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I hate that I can see literally ALL of those happening.
Sanity is the Lie, there is only Madness.Key points:
- Quantic Dream games keep getting better because more writers means Cage has a smaller and smaller impact on the game. (I would argue that Beyond: Two Souls is worse than Heavy Rain, but otherwise I agree with this trend.)
- Disney is likely to censor the worst bits of Cage, telling him, "you can't do that in Star Wars."
- In Minh's playthrough of Detoit: Become Human he killed Kara right away, I don't know if this ws intentional or not, and Woolie and Pat agreed that this made the game better.
- A lot of the imagery of Detoit: Become Human went over Minh's head. He didn't seem to catch the significance of the "androids at the back of the bus" bit.
- Reggie seems to not be familiar with David Cage and his legacy, and he didn't know why Woolie reacted the way he did during the "made by Quantic Dream" moment at the end of the trailer, but apparently some memes are starting to trickle down to him.
For all its problems, Detoit: Become Human fulfills the "Choices really matter" promise better than any other game I have ever seen. You can tell people took the time to plot out: "If you make choice X than that affects how scene Y plays later," and they did this with basically every option that would conceivably have repercussions later.

Inhabitants of the thread, can you help confirm something here?
The tweet from Pat is about a comment on Reddit that part of the localization team for Yakuza 4 thanked the Best Friends for encouraging more interest in the Yakuza series in the West with their LP of Yakuza 4.
This is the first time I'm hearing about our Shitlords helping the Yakuza series gain popularity in the West, much less a member of the staff giving them credit.
(Happy holidays to you all and our legendary former Best Friends, by the way.)
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.I seem to remember there having been some possible nods in the later games. Speaking personally it was their Yakuza 0 LP that drove up interest for me in the series.
I got interested in the games because of their Yakuza 4 LP myself.
Taco Fun Box, who has made many, many Best Friends Play compilations, has had his channel demonetized. He plans to move his Best Friends compilations to a new channel, but this means he won't be able to make any more compilaations going forward.
In more bad news, Suede's vieo channel is being taken down. I'm aware most of you probably don't follow this guy, but he was hit by a litigation that allows Japanese anime owners to take down any channel that has their anime on it, and there is no way for the content creator to fight it. I mention this because Super Eyepatch Wolf, collaborator on a few Woolie VS videos, including the Gon in 60 Seconds series, has had issues, and things may get much worse for him soon. There may be many more content creators having their channels taken down in the near future by this new litigation.
Eyepatch Wolf has stated on twitter that he has enough non-anime content on his channel that he'll probably be ok in the end, but other smaller creators mostly dealing with anime have many reasons to be concerned going forward.
Little V, the co-comentator on Kotor II, the Halo games, and the Yakuza games, has announced he won't be returning to Woolie vs. It seems the community was harassing him.
That was indeed the cause, unfortunately -_-
Man, fuck those people. I thought Pat and Woolie's fanbases were better than that.
I get the feeling it's a small number of jerks, but it only takes one.
Huge shame, he is my favorite of Woolie's guests.
On another note, I wonder if this means Woolie is done with the Yakuza games now. The Zero LP was on hiatus for V, but I don't blame him if he thinks its fruits of a poisonous tree.
Reggie will be taking over so the playthrough will continue. Sad about Little V. I hope things go well for him.
"If music be the food of love, PLAY ON" - William ShakespearePat revealed on the Castle Super Beast cast that he and Paige are married. They made their vows a long time ago, even before Woolie and Punchmom got married, but kept it on the down low because they thought it would be hilarious.
Also, they moved across the country. Someone joked that they moved across timezones to fix their sleep schedule :p
Pat and Paige have been running the long con XD
Woolie has started a Mass Effect playthrough. Specifically, Reggie is playing Mass Effect 1. This may mean we get playthroughs of 2 and 3, but that is not a guarantee at this time. Woolie has already played 1 and will be guiding Reggie, but Woolie hasn't touched 2 or 3 at this point, so I'm not sure what the plan is if and/or when they get that far.

Yeah, that was the general reaction to the game from most people familiar with Quantic Dream, I think.
"Oh wow, this looks awesome!"
-Developed by Quantic Dream-
"FUCK!"
