This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

I based my entry off multiple review sources online, mostly youtube, where the other guy just said his personal experience was the reason he deleted it, but sure okay I lacked understanding.
How long am I suspended.

Talking down to people is considered rude behavior. I gave a reason for my actions and was treated as a child it what can only be seen as disrespectful. I merely wish to know how and when I can be unsuspended, but if this is just ego stroking then I will have no part in it.

You haven't shown that you understand either the definition of Broken Base or the Edit War policy despite invitations to do so. I said "relatively". I should have informed myself better about the rules, that's true and now that I know that this type of editing is considered an Edit War, I'll make sure not to get involved in it again. Believe it or not I wasn't aware of the 'History'-page until now. From my point of view, my edit just kept disappearing, so I re-added it every time.
I've read up on the page by now, so now I know what the problem was. Again, I'm sorry. What more do you want me to say?

Send the person I think I may be engaging in an Edit War with a private message, either straight to their account or on the Discussion-page to settle it non-publically or ask the tropers, or report the other user.

When creating a proposal for a new trope, a basic outline is not enough, it needs to be comprehensive, with at least three examples. It must never be rogue-launched, it has to have at least three net votes at the end of a period of several days.

Okay, I understand. I'm sorry, and thanks for getting back to me after realizing you missed my post. Probably shouldn't be posting on trope pages anymore til I remember how to do it properly.

I've been banned from accessing my messages - I'm not sure if this was due to a suspension being placed incorrectly (I'd have expected to be banned from posting on the forums given the "don't @ me" response I posted last night, but that doesn't quite seem to be the case) or if banning someone from posting on the forums also bans them from checking their messages, but I would like some answers.

~BlueMonday1984, it's not unusual for people to get a little irritated at notifiers, or PM's that point out mistakes or are otherwise disagreeing. It's not good, but it's certainly a known thing. A "fuck off" to a simple welcome PM is dickish to a different level. This does not happen again, or you're getting pulled back here and this will be a much longer, more difficult conversation.
