This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

~Mattjanga: We'd all like things. For example, we'd like you not to add content that is completely made up. TV Tropes is not a place for you to do original writing, or to pimp your unwritten works.
The article you made was moved to DarthWiki.Villain Army, as that is where Unpublished Works are placed, and all wicks to it were removed because you aren't allowed to link to articles for works that don't exist. You don't get to put it in Just for Fun; that's not how things work here.

Already discussed with the other guy per pm and edit summaries to no avail. I'll step back right now.
EDIT: Perhaps you meant on a talk page and not by PM? If that is, I'll bear this in mind if I am involved in similar conflicts next time.
As for the rest, I will be more careful around them. I won't make the same mistake(s) anymore. Can you please unsuspend me? Thank you.

Deal. No more edit-warring. At most, I’ll ask about real-life examples in the forums instead of simply editing the page. I’ll only add to the page if you mods agree the example is valid.
You can suspend me again if I cause more trouble.
I tried suggesting Later Installment Antagonist Preview for the Trope Launch Pad, and defending my reasons for why I think it should be added when some people disagreed with me got me suspended. At least, that's my guess. Can someone help me with this?

~KelvinG: And we most certainly will suspend you in that case. One thing to note: we moderators don't usually involve ourselves in day to day conversations about trope applicability. We mostly intervene if there are questions of policy or if the debate appears to be stuck. I recommend using the "Is this an example?" topic to get advice.
That said, I really think that you should steer away from Real Life stuff. It's really not what the wiki is for. We allow it only as long as it doesn't get out of hand, and if you're here to crusade for your beliefs, that never turns out well. Understood?

Also, the game itself is coming out after 6 days. We will have an objective conclusion by then and this matter will be settled on either point. But in case next time I see something like this, I'll use it to consult others.

I don't even know what I did the first two times. Even then, all I did was fucking defend my reasons for making a Trope. I get what I did was wrong, but does the punishment really fit the crime?
