Not that far off for the main script to be finished in the translation.
2023 seems like a good bet.
CCC had themes beyond writers being really, really horny?
I think in this case the horny works if the themes tackled are about love and the many unhealthy or toxic approaches one can take to it, which is something shared by BB, the Sakura Five, Kiara and even Liz since she's like a downgrade reflection of Kiara if one stops to think about it.
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, we should find the absolutes that tie us.So many people call CCC's Nasu's best work for good reasons. I myself put it as the second behind Far Side Tsukihime.
CCC Liz really was her at her most evil.
I kinda miss that.
Really I think if you're still a fan of the Nasuverse you'd learn to think better than to dismiss its works based on surface level readings of the content. Not everything is Fate/Apocrypha levels of poorly thought out.
Its the consequence of most of the material not being translated. So the surface level stuff is all people are gonna understand.
Fate, being the most popular TM property, really suffered from that. So many bad takes for years due to poor fan translations and superficial understanding of the material.
Characters like Shirou and Sakura had their reputations just horrificay maligned as a result.
Tsukihime got lucky it was never as much in the public conscience until recently.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I'd say Shirou and Sakura still get tons of flack these days but you can say that's just a dislike for the subject matter than anything else.

CCC Liz was actually a really interesting character. Almost every appearance after that has been pretty meh.
In other words, Good Is Dumb.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. It's more like Elizabeth Bathory was probably better off being the villain she was historically instead of becoming a moe blob, but what can you do in a waifu franchise?
To be fair, that's the Nasuverse in a nutshell. Nobody is truly 100% card carrying evil, even someone like Zouken used to have nobler intentions.
Its all a matter of execution. That said, Liz is much more interesting when she has to confront the worst parts of herself as opposed to being very unfunny comic relief in FGO.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.TBF, her actually learning her lesson is better than some other stuff like Caster Gilles needing to be retaught thd lesson he needs.
Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!when are we getting moeblob zouken
Liz is overall a tragic character, so i kinda like FGO as her temporary happy ending.
even if it means that she's presented less complex, i think Liz deserves a little happiness. as a treat.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeN Aw, she deserves to suffer.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. She can be happy, but I don't like when the story constantly glosses over her being a narcissistic, backstabbing serial killer. When she gets reduced to just idol jokes it kinda ruins the character. It's like making Artoria's entire character about her hatred for octopi or something.
And yes, I know what she's actually reduced to is gluttony jokes and those suck too.

I kinda feel like removing or downplaying the negative aspects of these characters does make them less interesting.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."But they're "Fuuuuuun"
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Basically not let her character development carry over from previous games and make all of her appearances repeat the same steps already threaded in CCC instead of doing the Halloween 2 and 3 where she helps foils with the issue she already overcame in her debut game?
When the manga gets to London.
She frequently brings her old habits up in the context of her progress though.
Which is hilarious cause it makes the characters less fun.
Like with Liz, she's a one-note idol joke so she becomes pretty dull. But if you keep in that she's also a psychopathic serial killer and total narcissist along with being an idol that would actually make for some good comedy.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."^^ There's a difference between saying she used to be a bad person and showing that she actually used to do terrible things. Offhand the only moment I can think of where she's even somewhat seriously called on it is Vlad being pissed at her during Halloween.
I don't have an issue with adding more lighter elements to Liz's character but i wish it was a more nuanced affair.
Like, sure, keep the idol aspect but don't forget to show why she ended up becoming Carmilla at the end, as in, make her lash out in a rather agressive manner when things don't go her way or make her make use more of her dragon elements. I don't think it's a particularly hard balance to make given there are other characters that already do the same more or less.

I feel like Carmilla was created for the sole purpose of exercising the darker parts of Liz's personality into another character. A Decomposite Character basically.
Which would be fine if the writers didn't constantly have her play second fiddle to Liz...
