That also implies both characters are interchangable...which they aren't/
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Iirc Mad Skillz doesn’t like Tohno because of rapist choices you can make in Tsukihime
Unrelated but small update about that Walkure manga featuring Man vs God’s manga I mentioned a while ago.
First match is over & Lu Bu lost horribly. Even with all his might & literal Valkyrie for a spear the worst injury he dealt Thor with his strongest attack was a slash across his chest. Lu on the other hand got both arms & his right foot obliterated & was then finished off with a gory decapitation strike, turning his face into mushy past. Sure Lu died happy but God’s 1, Humans 0.
Onto Round Two: Adam the First Man vs Zeus God of the Skies & Lighting & Lord of the Greek Pantheon.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That's on Roa, not Shiki. And iirc it's never the player's choice.
That's part of it
But was mostly alluding to the Nanaya trigger which happens around non humans, which gets pretty nasty
Also one bad end in Arcueid route where you do that and there's the bad rape threat against Ciel in the same route.
Uh, the Nanaya impulse around non humans is murder, not rape. The 'long hard object' Shiki was feeling in his pocket when chasing Arc at the start was his knife, not his dick. And the point of the Arc near rape scene was that Shiki has been denying his attraction to Arcueid and that it absolutely wasn't his Nanaya instincts acting up there. Mostly.

It’s a shame that Tsukihime has no mainstream adaption because I have no idea what yawl are talking about.
Man if only they made an anime or something.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."At the beginning of Arc/Ciel's route, Shiki sees Arc walking the streets and immediately begins following her in a dazed state that's worded like he intends to catch and rape her as he talks about the long hard object he's feeling through his pants. He follows her to her apartment, knocks on the door and in the split second of her doing so charges in, takes out the knife in his pocket and slices her to bits before coming to his senses and realizing he just murdered a woman.
Around 2/3 of the way through the story he sees Arcueid's Mystic Eyes and goes into a frenzy again because his family are a clan of demon hunters that go berserk when they see monsters. He narrowly manages to suppress this instinct, but almost rapes her because he's all jacked up on adrenaline and also extremely attracted to her.
Near the end of Arc's route he threatens to rape Ciel to get her to help. It's just a threat.
In Ciel's route he can rape Kohaku if you make the wrong choice because of magical plot nonsense not worth getting into.
He tends to be a pretty aggressive lover in general.

It's worth noting that Tohno Shiki is known as the Lord of Bedroom Jackassery.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I personally have never found Shiki T to be particularly likeable
Heart of StoneRemind me, which is the girl & which is the boy?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Ryougi = girlboy<>, Tohno = boy.
I find Tohno harder to like than Shirou, but a tad more interesting.
What the fuck did Tohno do?

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I think Tohno’s behaviour is part of why the remake is taking so long.
Instead of focusing on relatives that divide us, we should find the absolutes that tie us.The world was a very different place back in 1999.
Nasu probably took a look at some of the stuff he wrote and went "Buddha, what the hell was I thinking!?."
That's all
uh
really really not cool
and really concerning
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeLong story short, Shiki Toono has 4 different supernatural external factors ( Makihisa's partial memory wipe, life connection with his siblings and consequently Roa, Nanaya family's demon-killing instincts, Kohaku's hypnosis drugs) affecting his mind on the regular and the results can get pretty messed up at times. But he tends to be a pretty nice dude when he's fully conscious.
I'm pretty sure rape is bad regardless of timeline. It's jarring that you have rapists as minor antagonists in KnK, but have someone with a similar attitude as the main character in that VN with no anime.
Yeah, he's normally extremely laid back and casual. If there's anything problematic about rape in Tsukihime it's not really due to Shiki's character but rather how the story treats it as a whole as a kind of fall back trauma/drama trigger.
What the hell was Nasu drinking back then?
Regardless of your opinion of the last American election, we can all agree on one thing- The Chinese Communist Party can choke on scrotes!Guys, does the Tulpa trope apply to Divine Spirits that were born from human thoughts/wishes/worship (as opposed to deified superhumans, with or without Divine Parentage, like Lartorianote and Heracles)? FWIW, this kind of Divine Spirits is listed as an example on Clap Your Hands If You Believe, which is a core element of Tulpa.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus....I feel like explicitly and completely fictional Servants like Yan Qing fit the letter of the trope but not the spirit.
Tulpa and Reincarnation can potentially both fit, because a Bunrei is an aspect of a deity and Divine Spirits are generally the reincarnations of older gods that predate humanity but died. Excluding ones that were human once.
SMT once nicely described it as an echo when Dagda faced Odin.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
Ryougi's personality and actions would not interest Arcueid the way Shiki's would.
