I'm curious as well because 10 episodes in and it's been some of the show's best arcs IMO.
It does make me dislike Ruel more though. What an asshole.
I think it around the Enutorf Floor for me, and I didn't really care for the Oropo reveal.
Wakfu started going downhill for me when Yugo was acting like a jealous racist to Harebourg. That really made me like Yugo a whole lot less. I learned later that they really wrote Harebourg out of character. He's actually a lot cooler in lore.
It really went downhill when they revealed Tristepin was a god, and he started being all mopey about being powerful and having to take responsibility for things. I couldn't really sympathize with him on that at all. And it didn't really go anywhere for his character, because he pretty much just gave his godhood back to Goultard again after that so he wouldn't have to deal with it.
A lot of the characters seemed like they were derailed to me actually. The fights are still awesome though.

I rather liked Dally's angst with being the new god and how it came at odds with him wanting to be a father first and foremost. It felt believable(no parent wants to lose their child) while also demonstrating the maturity he's had from being the glory lover of the early show. I feel like he hasn't stopped maturing either, seems like each season he's matured more and more while still being a lovable goof.
As for Yugo, it wasn't until the OV As/S3 where we really got a look into his psyche. The idea of his supernatural longevity causing him insecurity and feeling guilt from the aftermath of the previous seasons is really nice to see.
I don't feel like the characters got derailed after season 2, if anything they have more depth now and we got a better look into their flaws and insecurities. Like we knew Ruel's greed was a flaw, but it wasn't until S3 we found out just how badly it impacted others in his life. Turns out he was a Jerkass, though at least he shows remorse for it.
I will admit, I don't like how Amaria responded to Ororo initially. Then she dissed Yugo too after he found them kissing? What a bitch.
What ever happened to eva's sis? I actually liked her more than Eva lol, though I do like eva now after she became an Action Mom. Ah nevermind, she stayed with the pirates.
EDIT: So I finished season 3, Ororo's "boss battle" wasn't quite as cool as Nox's or Quilby's but I find the implications of the ending to be really interesting and I'm looking forward to where it leads. Please tell me we're going to get a season 4 eventually...

I wonder if there will be a new season. I think maybe the plot point about New Sufokia would be good. I think it would be good to see what Prince Adale is doing, and if he really was true about being peaceful or it was a lie to hide his true aims.
I don't believe we'll be seeing that, what with the timeskip and the ending of Season 3 and all. Which is a shame, because I liked Adale. He had a nice mix of pragmatism and priggishness.
I am thinking a season 4 could show what Adale and his kingdom has been up to since season 2. Because that seems like it could have an opening for another storyline.
Season 3 ended on them being transported to the God's dimensions from what I remember. So they're focusing on stuff that's on a much bigger scale. It wouldn't really connect well.
I do miss when the show was more focused on exploring the World of Twelve a lot though.

Yeah, it looks like New Sufokia is going to be an Aborted Arc, because are introduced to this nation late in season 2 but since it's a Time Skip and the aforementioned going to the gods'realm, we won't get any details on them.
I do miss when the show was more focused on exploring the World of Twelve a lot though.
Me too. I guess that's one reason why season 3 felt like a step down in quality.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayI do wonder what they are going with the god realm storyline and what are they going to call the baby.
So according to a Youtuber, they were planning on doing a Kickstarter for Seaason 4. Has anything been heard about that?
Also where did Dofus on VRV go?

They've already reached their initial goal to fund three episodes and have funded four more. So that's 7 episodes out of a potential 13.
Looks like things are heading in an apocalyptic direction. Also, we see what looks like a grown-up Yugo wielding a Wakfu sword and a Stasis sword charging into battle.
Disgusted, but not surprisedAnd aparrently the Cerebus Syndrome isn't over. It's a shame that they're going for the "suck out the fun" direction. Especially since the show picked up most of its audience in the first and second season.
TBF, the point of this season is apparently to act as a transition from Wakfu to Waven. So that may very well involve destroying the old world to go to a new one.
Disgusted, but not surprisedThis has all the trappings of Torch the Franchise and Run, at least in regards to Wakfu.
What's is Waven?
Waven's the new MMORPG that will be the sequel to Wakfu.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI wonder what Waven's era would be called. Also I wonder if this means more new classes.
Doing a bit of digging here, but maybe some might be interested. Dofus regularly starts servers named Temporis, which are temporary. Each one has a theme, some are interesting, others aren't, but the current Temporis is apparently a huge hit: it's Pokemon-themed.
All the usual Dofus mechanics (Action Points, Movements points, stats, etc...) are kept, but your characters can't fight directly. Instead, they can summon up to 2 Creatures (Altérés in French) at a time, among a maximum of 6 you can pick for each fight, and they do the fighting. Your character is still on the map, but only to use buffs that are related to its class - for example, Iops increase damage, Ecaflips play with crits, Enutrofs increase PM, and so on.
Each creature has 3 unique, different spells, and they all have a specialty - ranged damage, positionals, healing, debuffs, AP or MP control...and some of them can even evolve through a unique job that has to be levelled.
To get new creatures, you need to fight and beat them. They are part of "normal" mob groups on the map, but you don't know which one will pop: you discover which one you might catch when the fight starts. Some are common, others aren't, and the goal is to collect all, you guessed it, 151 of them while building the strongest possible team.
It's quite fun, WAY less grindy than regular Dofus, and when the server closes, you get an XP potion which can allow you to level a new character up to a certain level (depending how many achievements you unlocked in Osatopia) in normal Dofus, in case you want to continue there.
If you've never tried Dofus, it's a good opportunity. It's one of the best T-RPG ever created, it's just that its community can be bothersome (although it seems to be getting older nowadays, so it gets better), and the regular game is very, very, very grindy.
Here's the Osatopia presentation page, including the four starter creatures Coolio, Feevaray, Windive & Drilbit (four because there are four attacking elements in Dofus).

Out of curiosity what point did it go downhill for you?
