I get what Tats is trying to do here, but any attempt at cleverness is ruined because he's supporting the people who are much more likely to actually take away his rights, or burn down an entire country.

$957 now. There's usually a drop on the first of the month, and then the numbers level off and maybe even climb back to close to where they were. Not this month. Sometimes it feels like Tats is actively TRYING to drive away his patrons.

My hunch is that Xanthe will realize who Pumpkin is and will Take Measures to combat her aging. Maybe Hekate's raven will take a message to Nana, who will brew up some magical elixir to prevent Pumpkin from dying on December 31.
