I feel like Tats took my "the devil is behind both sides" idea and twisted it up all wrong. I wanted to see the Devil pitting men and women against each other and the good side opposed to him being for resolving that dichotomy, but instead he decided that the Devil is behind the Patriarchy and the "woke" lets-all-be-nice-to-each-other sides and the only "good" guys are the man-hating (and trans-hating and I guess gay-hating now too?) women side.

Well, modern shady companies act woke in order to get people to ignore their human rights abuse. However, since it's Tats, he's pretty much not the best person to convey that message.

This strip is just ridiculous. It continues the Woke TV theme of the "woke" being tools of the devil and also has undertones of homophobia for extra offensiveness

Tats is one of those extremist nutjobs whom, if you disagree with them by one word in paragraph 75 in their personal charters, label you as misguided or evil

He's lost so much sense of proportion and rationality that he's starting to come across as a bigot again

It's still reassuring to see that Tats can't keep telling a story without some bashing of the concept of being accepting of people that are different than you.

I'm pretty sure Tats is saying here that any corporation or person who SAYS they're pro-LGBT rights is actually the enemy unless they're stating exactly what YOU believe, in exactly the same way YOU would say it. Just like you're supposed to believe that any woman who supports trans rights has been brainwashed or abused into it.

Because you don't know you're in the right unless you're hunkered down in terror that anyone has a different opinion from you.

A think it's a bit column a and then column b. Part of the reason is because they are spy drones he is sending out. We can only assume that Tatsuya will ONLY address how radical feminists are oppressed because of the single-mindedness of his approach. While this could be taken in a way where companies are just pandering to the LGBTQ crowd, he most likely means it in the way that the LGBTQ crowd is being weaponized to oppress rad fems.

He is trying to have his cake and eat it too, appealing to a side he disdains through vague messaging while being out and open on his disdain on Gab, hoping that those who donate to his Patreon don't look too closely.

Tats only hates the GBTQ crowd. L are women (the Only Good People in reality) who refuse to give the patriarchy power over them and love other women. Being a man he also might be okay with B but only towards him specifically. Everyone else is a filthy traitor or an oppressor.

I dunno. I see two possible explanations for Tats' behavior:

• He's desperate to stay in the good graces of Someone Else, so he caters to her and periodically explores bizarre radfem themes.

• He's a masochist, to the point of being a character out of a gender-bent Gor novel: "Oh, punish me again, Mistress! I yearn for the sting of your lash upon my bare shoulders!" "Silence, worm! I'll whip you when I damn well please, and not a moment sooner!"

I don't think Tat is with someone; I do agree that he is trying to get back into someone's good graces. I am pretty sure his wife left him for his porn abuse, or he probably did stuff with whores or something as well (his porn abuse would have to be REALLY bad for his wife to leave him over just something like that; he probably did more than just watch porn).

Sure, he tries to blame his "fame" for ruining his life, but his focus on pornography and prostitution shows that was the true cause of his failed relationship. Not to mention that I still believe the fights between Liberty and Sam were actual reconstructions of his own arguments with his wife.

He kind of does this song and dance where he suggests other things outside of himself caused his unhappiness, but it's super obvious that he hasn't learned the interpersonal skills needed to have a healthy relationship. He's just bitter.

Tats is dressing up his bigotry with some Disney nostalgia. It seems he's specifically writing comics to put on Spinster to get likes.

Imagine you have sunk so low that this is where you need to get your attention from. It's pretty funny!

I've always had the opinion that Tats looks really close to home for inspiration, so this seems plausible to me. He always comes across as some kind of narcissistic douche. I can't imagine him maintaining a healthy relationship with anyone.

@Gibson35: There were several other comics in which the woman of the second strip appeared — in particular, the "raccoon" strip. There was at least one other that featured a picture on the wall of a different woman, labeled "MUSE" — note that Tats' company is named "Museworks."

I was struck by the difference in art style between those comics and slightly later ones — these have more detail and texture than usual.
