Sinfest

Here's an idea from Real Life for a Sinfest plotline:

Sex robots BACKLASH as brothel workers reveal fury over ‘dehumanising and dangerous’ droids

Sex workers have joined the growing chorus of voices speaking out against the rise of sex robots

Why do fembots and human women get along so well in Sinfest?

What would happen to the sex workers in Festerville when their competition is an entity with a perfect body, who wants only to please the customer, who never complains or criticizes, who never gets tired (and never gets tired of sex), and who never gets old or out of shape? Why would a pimp prefer to pay human women and keep them in line with drugs and threats of violence, when he could own fembots and rent them out while he lived a life of luxury?

Those human prostitutes would be out of a job! They'd be looking for work, but discovering that they're unqualified for anything else! (If prostitution is degrading and the Ultimate Evil, and some other career had been open to them, why would they have been prostitutes?)

All right, I did find that a little funny. And I like how Squig just goes, "Yeah, I have a lot of smut. I was a very avid collector."

She has no right to say ew, since she engaged in some naught stuff as a former demon girl.

So, why didn't Squig burn it on his chimney or something? Why is he treating fucking Porn as it were the one ring?

I'd give tats a pass on that. It clearly meant as a joke or parody. I don't think is a good joke but there's nothing inherently wrong about it. He's just not good at setting up jokes.

And I agree that a former devil girl temptress shouldn't be bothered at all. But with how the comic's gone it may have been retconed that she never did anything bad before and is as innocent and pure as can be.

The horns and tail are basically accessories by this point for the devil girls. A woman can't be bad, even if she's a former succubus.

It's a joke. South Park did the same joke too with Butters and his porn vid in that one episode where they play Lord of the Rings.

Well, of course she says ew. That's pretty much the socially mandated response to finding out that someone has *gasp* porn in their house, and *legasp* masturbates to it. You are NEVER supposed to go "Oh, that's a lot of porn. Neat!"

I think Fyoosh was never supposed to be a fully evil succubus. That was kind of the point of her character arc once she got character development from being a generic devil girl on Satan's arm, and before the Sisterhood kicked in. Blue is the succubus with no regrets, Fyoosh is the succubus who wants something better. WITHOUT the aid of feminism or other characters, I might add. Fyoosh may actually be the best example of an independent, liberated woman this comic has to offer.

It's odd, by the way, how Blue is the one most devoted to her succubus lifestyle, but is the least sexualized of the pair. Notice how she started to wear more clothing and cut her hair short when Fyoosh' romantic plotline started?

Fuchsia started to doubt and change when Criminy was treating her like a person instead of like a demon.

Before that it was this or this with her.

I'm fine with Fuchsia changing her ways and redeeming herself, but I think there certainly was a time where she enjoyed what she was doing.

May I suggest that some people can love sex and not enjoy the idea of porn at all for various reasons?

When it comes in bags that look like they've got an entire library of the stuff inside? That quantity is way over the top for any mere mortal to collect

I think you're right and her character development has been the best part of Sinfest, for my money.

Although to be fair, she did a pretty good impression. I'm sure I recall one of her first conversations with Criminy was along the lines of "You're kind of cute.. I think I'll let you live."

@ Redmess More than I'd care to admit, and all of it on a flash drive, though most of it is drawn pictures. If I put it into physical format, I'd need more bags than what Squig has.

And before anyone asks, I just collect it as a hobby. Lotta good artists out there just fade into the ether of the net. I like to make sure I don't complet;ey lose the ones I like.

Huh. Fairly decent art. And is it just me or are the women looking more like women than they used to?

For quite awhile they were looking like they kept getting younger each time you saw them.

Yeah, I didn't realize it was a different woman from the previous strip. Even the clothing is pretty similar.
