Fair enough. Random thoughts: What on earth was Guel planning to do if Suletta and Elan were still getting along when he skidded into their meet-up?
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysProlly similar to what Miorine was doing
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Stand there and watch the both of them blast off with Aerial.
Where there's life, there's hope.Anyway, I guess any major change to the status quo will come about episode... 8? Shaddiq still needs to get shown off.
Avatar SourceAhh yes, Brown Gilgamesh. I'm sure he's a nice guy too.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Grassley is still consistently against the GUND technology, so I wonder what kind of excuse he'll use to fight Suletta.
On that note, it's weird that Peil wanted the GUND system when Grassley proved that they can defeat Gundam easily (if they aren't using the cheaper models).
Where there's life, there's hope.I'm impressed by how positive the call with Elnora is.
Would have figured she would have immediately ended the call when the guy walked in but no she waited until Suletta was finished and spoke fondly of the exchange.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I think part of it is that Peil already had her attention, so she's obviously wants Suletta to say everything about her new "date."
Where there's life, there's hope. But yeah, I think it's probably accurate to say that she loves her daughter and she's grooming her as a weapon for her revenge. The two aren't as smoothly contradictory as you might think.
What's precedent ever done for us?Ahh yes, Brown Gilgamesh. I'm sure he's a nice guy too.
His dad is consistently the least awful of the Benerit Group higher-ups, at least
On that note, it's weird that Peil wanted the GUND system when Grassley proved that they can defeat Gundam easily (if they aren't using the cheaper models).
Is that Grassley tech? The Dominicus Corps might use Grassley mobile suits, but Sarius sure seemed surprised by their actions
She may have kinda softened since the short story
Like she's still committed to revenge but she no longer feels the need to mistreat Suletta over it
Interesting bit that his dad also adopted him

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The big question I have at this point is what would best disrupt the 'losing has terrible permanent consequences' part of the situation. Since Suletta doesn't seem like she'd be too keen to go for a rematch if she did lose a fight for whatever reason, even if they stop putting Aerial on the line for all of these.
Avatar SourceThe wiki said that Beguir is built by Glassley. The Michaelis is also similar in design too.
Where there's life, there's hope. Her losing means Miorine is engaged to someone else, so that's one reason.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.See, that requires Suletta to want to be engaged to Miorine.
Avatar SourceWell Suletta did tell her she will take responsibility for foiling her escape attempt in episode one
So making sure she's not stuck in a marriage to someone she doesn't want is a good enough way of doing that
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yea, even if she doesn't want to be engaged with Miorine, I can't imagine that she's just gonna let someone else have their way with her if she loses. Someone even worse than Guel could come along.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.He even said the same line as Miorine as well. The two of them are surprisingly similar.
They've got a shared braincell like that.
Avatar SourceThe Beguir-Beu appears to be highly specialised short-ranged MS with its wire-guide pods. If not piloted by a skilled ace, the BB wouldn't even be able to engage its main weapon before getting blasted to oblivion by a Gundam.
Not to mention, the prologue Gundams are prototypes, two of them still inflicted heavy strains on their pilots. Elnora seemed to just pilot the Lfrith normally and wasn't doing anything fancy, Ericht was the one engaged with the GUND system and she didn't exactly know what was going on other than making pretty lights on the screen. The BB had the elements of surprise there.
IMO, a fully developed Gundam would make a much better general purpose war machine. In a war, 10 average pilots with Gundams would probably obliterate 10 average pilots with BB.
Speaking of prologue, from scrolling twitter and youtube, the "Suletta ≠ Ericht = Aerial" theory is getting more popular with the JP fans after the latest episode, I feel. Most people still say its not very conclusive, but the vibe is getting stronger.
@G 2 Battle Convoy On your Fridge Horror. I doubt that. Pretty sure the Peil Gund Developer is another survivor like Prospera, probably one that was at Ochs Earth HQ when the raids happened.

Yeah, the Peil GUND developer called Prospera sempai, so she was probably ex-Vanadis/Ochs Earth.
NGL, the fact that they created a human being specifically to pilot a Gundam is pretty fucked up. It also kind of adds to the Villain Has a Point thing Delling has going concerning how dangerous Gundams are.
Disgusted, but not surprised
We don't actually know how long has passed, to be fair. Enough time for anything to be arranged? It is a mystery.
