Caught up with the last few chapters. Is it me or has the author upped their game regarding the art?

A lot of "wow" pages there. Now I hope Arashiyama will get to do something before this all ends.

Maybe she'll gather the Beast Clan outcasts and become the new head.

Extra chapter is also out for my favorite girl so far, Ureshino. Cute, cute manga cafe date.

I like Himekawa the best, personally. I wonder how "Canon" these extra dates are.

Ding ding ding! Never underestimate a hamster master!

The outcast Beast Users calling to their partners inside the chimera’s body was actually pretty cool. Arashiyama saves the day, may her hamsters reign eternal.

This is also staggering news for the underworld as one of the Great Clans has effectively fallen. Gero either becomes a more valuable property, or he gets a huge target painted on his back. Or both.

Looks like the fallout is probably going to be minimal since Toshiro isn’t the clan head.

Despite not realizing it, Arashiyama went in for the kill. Also Ushio’s reactions were great.

Well, good thing she blurted it out herself, he would still be stuttering an hour later otherwise.

Wonder how Gero is going to respond to Arashiyama. Something along the lines he wants to get to know her better first? Or maybe it'll force Ushio to ask him out too.

I'm still team Ureshino though.

Arashiyama decided to step back in order to do some self-improvement, but makes it clear she still gunning for the wife position.

Well, props to her for wanting to better herself first. I always love the type of girl who can declare "I'll make you fall for me!"

Kinosaki downing the restaurant’s entire menu with each panel during the love counseling was comedy gold.

But no time to have fun. Gero’s fanatical cousin ain’t gonna let him get soft it seems. And we get a glimpse of what it would look like if Gero was the bad guy. That scene of everyone collapsing on the street was pretty terrifying.

Think Piichi‘s girlfriend might be a bit out there herself.

And the yandere has been dealt with. Now here’s hoping he doesn’t starts hounding Kinosaki about the marriage prospects.

New arc, new marriage candidate. Chinatsu is the most interesting to me so far. Her being a protector puts her in alignment with Gero given that’s something he wants to do despite being a specialist, plus she’s skilled in combat (though apparently not to the extent as Gero or other specialists). Considering we got Erina’s Seal of Approval this chapter I’m guessing the focus will be on her already anticipating her death and what happens with Erina once the immediate threat is dealt with.

Chinatsu is definitely a keeper. I’m still team Ureshino but Chinatsu being a protector and a secret sweets enjoyer is too dang perfect for Gero. Also loved seeing her flabbergasted that she landed a top poison specialist as a driver.

Also we learn that there are potentially Specialist clans even Gero doesn’t know about. Which makes sense, they’re the type of profession that would go lurking in the shadows.

Chinatsu is great, but I'm still Team Hamster Girl.

Though it was funny seeing Erina go from "don't be seduced" to " please fuck Chinatsu" in just one chapter.

It's like Chrisposting, but canon.

Think the Windwheel users are trained in the Toretto school of assassination.

So they specialize in both wind AND wheels. That’s so dumb. And funny.

Starting to feel like this is going to end with a Last Girl Wins, given how each new partner seems to have increasing compatibility with Gero.
