Difficulty Description - what's the trope's exact name?

Is there a formal name for the Video Game Trope, where you select a difficulty, and it describes, in some fun way, what to expect going in. Like, in Halo 2, where Legendary is described as "You face opponents who have never known defeat, who laugh in alien tongues at your efforts to survive. This is suicide."

Or maybe just a straight up warning along the lines of "are you actually crazy, don't pick this unless you're serious hardcore"?
