Suggestion: Shapeshifting Trickster

Considering some panel combos from these two pages:

• panels 2+3 of the first page + panel 2 of the second
• panel 2 of the first page + panels 2+3 of the second
• panels 2+3 of the second page
• panels 2+3 of the first page + panels 2+3 of the second (probably too long)
• panel 2 of the first page + panel 2 of the second (doesn't make it clear they're the same character, but maybe that can be inferred?)

Of those combinations, I like the first two, preferring the second.

I like how using panel 3 of the second page both ties it to the previous panel (through the dialogue) and to the first page, but since he goes from being up in the tree to being down on the ground, I'm not sure how clear it is that it's the same character from the previous panel, as opposed to a character building off of another character's sentence.

I do like panel 2 of the first page for the character having the same color scheme as his other form.

All four panels would probably be the clearest, but again, would probably be too long.

But, maybe I'm worrying for no reason. How do other people feel about the clarity of the proposals?

Bump. I'm honestly in favor of using all four panels.

Calling for the first arrangment in the OP, but I'm going to be busy for most of the day and won't have an opportunity to put the pic together for a while.
