It´s about two tropes in the Film and Literature Pages.

On the Literature page, there is War is Hell. It is suppossed to mean the Free People and Sauron´s Army will slaughter each other without mercy, but isn´t it used when war sucks in general? The film (at least as far as I know) portray the war against Sauron as glorious and liberating, even if tough.

On the Film page, it mentions in "Silly Rabbit, Cynicism is for Losers!" that

The trilogy as a whole is known to deconstruct cynicism relentlessly
Why exactly is that? I know it punishes cynical characters, but deconstruct?

Maybe it´s just I didn´t quite get it.

Please do not start threads to ask questions. Post in the existing topic for the work or franchise.
