A bit of a shame, I finished the show yesterday and despite it still being pretty bad I had fun.
Would have been nice to see it get a proper conclusion, but ah well.

The Winx licence has been picked up by Mad Cave, who will be publishing new comics based off of the original cartoon, and Fate will also be returning as a series of YA graphic novels

Something for everyone. I may not care for this show but I'm glad it can be carried on in some other medium for those who like it.

Its up there with Miraculous Ladybug in terms of just being unkillable.

No, I think it's an original idea for this show. Though it does come from a real term, ,so most likely the writers just picked an "exotic" sounding name.
