i have a big battle planned & one of the protagonists is blind. hes capable of fighting still, but im worried i wont be able to fully describe whats going on, esp since i want several "background character fights" to be seen by him.

should i switch to omnipotent narration for this part? should i use ombipotent narration for the whole battle?

alternatively, i can give him sight for the battle (hes close friends with someone who can perform magic), but im hesitant to do this since he can perform fine without it & i dont want to imply he needs sight to participate.

What voice are you using for the rest of the story?

[up] the rest is 3rd person with narration being passed among a few protagonists. they each get a chapter during this battle

Honestly, a section written from this character's perspective sounds rather interesting to me! It could be quite engaging to discover how they perceive the events and flow of battle—especially given that they can perceive well enough to fight.
