I'm sick of anime swimsuit episodes!

When I first started watching anime of the kind I like, usually comedies with or without slice of life, I actually didn't mind swimsuit episodes. After all, those kinds of episodes aren't limited to anime anyway. But as time went on, it seems that every comedy and/or slice of life show I watched had at least one episode where the main characters donned swimwear. It came to a point where it felt like one of those cartoon episodes where one guy tries to get away from another guy, but no matter where he went, the other guy was right there with him. And then, I found out that an anime I really enjoyed, "Laid Back Camp," an anime that takes place in AUTUMN, mind you, HAD A SWIMSUIT EPISODE (its 3rd OVA).

That was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Since then, I pledged myself I would not enjoy an anime if there was any episode (in season or OVA) that had the characters in swimwear (though I'll make a few exceptions such as if the characters have to wear them for the entire duration of the series).

What do you think? Am I right in my wish to only enjoy anime if there was no swimsuit episode in it, or am I not meant to watch anime at all because of it?

I recall School-Live! having a beach episode, and one of the top Crunchyroll comments were (spoilers in case you haven't watched it yet):

" A post-apocalyptic scenario cannot stop an anime for having a pool episode."

I don't know if you have to hate an anime for including a trope, but this is definitely a very cliche trope.
