Just wondering if there's an easy way to create a work in progress sandbox for a page that isn't finished yet. Me and a pal are trying to work together on a page for a work before publishing it, but you can't edit someone else's troper page and we're not sure where else works. Any help would be appreciated.

Just create a page in the Sandbox namespace. If you’re not sure what namespaces are, they’re types of pages. At the end of the URL for any trope, index, work, or Administrivia page, you’ll find the namespace and the page title, like this:

Namespace/PageTitle

Make the namespace “Sandbox” and enter whatever title you want for the page. The page won’t exist yet, but you can select “Edit” to create the page. If you later want to delete the page, put it on the Cut List.

If you need help with creating a work page, check out the New Work Page Workshop Thread.

For an unfinished work (like a videogame that you're coding or a novel that you're editing), such a page must be either in DarthWiki (under Unpublished Works) but if the page has trailers and posters for marketing (along with a specific release date) and sufficient marketing tropes, the page can be created in the appropriate media namespace.

Most likely you'll want to create the page in DarthWiki, unless you're working with Baen Books or something.
