Honestly Connor got too much grief this episode, coz yeah sometimes people just have vanilla tastes. Like I enjoy some trashy shows but I hold none of them dear to my heart.
He's the one who's always shitting the most on Shonen in these podcasts, so he gets no sympathy from me.

Well I kinda feel like all three of them do justice to the name of their podcast, one way or another, haha. Again Joey thinks Another is a great show, bleh. I’m gonna look for their shonen-trashing spiels so I can shit on them too.
On that note, I found the Highlights channel, so I’ve been going through that instead. I actually like that they don’t talk about anime most of the time haha.

I read the manga of Another and that was enough for me...it's eerie and kinda creepy but just didn't click with me as much as I was hoping it would.

My first exposure to Nano was from the loose anime adaptation of Arpeggio of Blue Steel where she sang the opening theme song.
Possibly because she was very private at first, never revealed herself before and she can do a low masculine voice which led some of her female fans believe Nano was a man before she finally revealed herself later, there are still some people who thinks she's gender neutral even though she uses female pronounces. Even earlier ANN articles about her uses gender neutral pronounces.
