Nick perked up as soon as he saw the starred sphere, getting up from his seat on the rear bumper and wandering over to give it a look up close.

"Oh, you are... Interesting. Mind if I hold it for a bit?"

Lily shrugged and went back to typing away at her laptop, though Jake was a little more intrigued.

"How many of you lot are there? Like, people with powers I mean."

Towards The Ito Mansion

Spinel was still finding the easiest way to the Ito Mansion...which was kind of difficult when you didn't have a fast golden cloud as your means of transport.

Maaaan. It could have been great to be atop that cloud, and see the amazing view of Summerside from it..., she thought with a pout.

But little she did know that this thought of hers would be the catalyst of a bizarre phenomenon...

Her body started to glitch violently, with static effects erratically flickering around her, for a short period of time before glowing.

Huh? What's happening to me?!

After that glow, she found herself in an odd form: she was now a cloud in the likeness of the Flying Nimbus, except she had eyes, was pink and was a bit smaller than the original one.

She gasped. "OH! What even..?!"

Spinel couldn't believe it; "This is...ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!", she exclaimed enthusiastically.

"Who could have seen this coming...me transforming into my own Flying Nimbus! Hahahahah...this is so cool...", she shortly spun in a circle, displaying excitement.

"Well, I guess I should get goin'. I don't have to make the others wait for me anymore!", she shot towards the Mansion, with even more speed than average.

The pink cloud felt free, unburdened by the limitations of her former body...something truly refreshing!

"Oh! Gohan. Kaito! There you are!!", the group outside the Mansion would see a pink cloud landing on a spot near them and then glowing and shifting back into a familiar forme.

"Uh, su-"

Gohan was about to hand the Dragon Ball over when Kaito and Spinel arrived.

"Oh, Mr. Tana-Spinel?!"

The kid's jaw drops for a second before he regains his composure, his hand reflexively dropping the Dragon Ball back into his pocket.

"How...how did you do that? That's gonna be useful for trying to find the other Balls! ...Which I just realized we...don't have a way to find..."

"Uh... Okay, pink shapeshifter. Adding that one to the ol' mental powers list alongside 'cloud and staff' and 'hair made of fire'."

Nick perked up a little, eyes narrowing a little at what's being said.

"I don't know why, but that thing is sparking some deja-vu... Come on, let me hold it for a bit."

Kaito stared bewildered at Spinel yet again when she arrived as a pink cloud and then turned back, blinking for a few seconds and muttering "Great gods..." in the process.

"A shapeshifter... reminds me of someone I've known, but I can't recall who." Mentions Kaito while trying to recall something from the past.

"What do you mean we don't have a way to find the rest of the Dragon Balls? Surely there should be a way, even if we don't have it right here. Maybe a radar of some sort, or someone who can track it?" He then says, turning to Gohan's direction.

And Now, for a Catch-up

Julius did not have a cloud. He could not turn into a cloud. Hell, he didn't even have a car. As such, he was one of the last people to arrive at the mansion.

He pushed open the door and stared shyly at everyone inside. "H-hi guys. Sorry I'm late." He then walked inside, letting the door swing shut behind him.

Rather large crowd. A bit more than there were at the park.

"F-feels like half the town turned up..." Julius nervously bit his lip and looked around. "So, um...what did I miss?"

Spinel giggled as she approached the group, being mainly amused at Gohan and Kaito's reactions.

"Isn't this 'shapeshifting' stuff so cool?", she beamed with starry eyes.

"I was on my way here and I was like 'Man, it would be great to have a portable cloud like Gohan does', and then my body just became static-y and glowy and stuff and—"

Her body started glitching out and glowing before turning back into her cloud form.

"Voilà! I'm now a pink fluffy fast cloud.", she quickly spun in a circle before turning back into her default state.

Vito had finally pulled up to the driveway of the mansion, once again way too late to the party after his car had an unexpected flat tire. Having put on a spare tire, Vito walked to the nearest sink to wash his hands before finally joining up with the group proper.

"Sorry about being so late. Had to change a tire. So, what's our plan of action?"

Ito Household

Gohan looks back at Nick, seeming unsure for a second before taking the Ball back out of his pocket and handing it to him.

"Alright, but just for a minute. I kinda want to hold onto it while we're traveling, it was my dad's..."

Turning to Kaito, Gohan thinks for a few seconds.

"A radar...my dad’s friend made one! Right, I remember she could track them...I don't know how to build another, though. Does...anyone here know how to make something like that?"

Spinel's little demonstration catches his attention, Gohan chuckling at her brief transformation back into the cloud.

"Hey, guess we can race next time we're on the move! We might as well try to have fun while we're...saving the world, right? I'm still confused on what we were 'picked' for..."

And he finally decides to address Julius and Vito, those two having just arrived.

"From what I know...road trip to find the rest of the Balls, and figure out what's going on."

Nick looked rather pensive as he took hold of the sphere, for a while he was silent as he turned it over in his hands and stared into the polished surface. Eventually he looked up, his gaze sharply focused on the rest of the party.

"I... I think I know where another one is."

Julius blinked, then grinned a little. "Alright, then! Guess the road trip's on." A realization then came to him, and the grin slid off his fast. "...but...I don't know where to even start."

Oh, boo hoo. Well, you tried, you failed, let's go to sleep.

"It's afternoon."

And that's relevant because?

Suddenly, one of the newcomers—a friend of the adults, maybe?—announced that they knew where the next Dragon Ball was. Julius's eyes lit up, and he shot over to the man like a bullet.

"You know where they are? Can you tell us?"

Ito Household

"A car race would be nice...", Spinel nodded, agreeing with the half-saiyan.

Gohan and Mr. Tanaka, as well as some other peeps she did not recognize, were figuring out the easiest (possible) way to find the Dragon Balls...or at least the next one. Gohan mentioned a friend of his dad building a radar that could track them.

I don't think I can build something like that, heheh. I'm no Peridot...

Anyways, Gohan handed the Dragon Ball he had to one of the radio peeps, who stared intensely at it.

"Oh really? Spill the beans!", she nosily leaned towards Nick.

Nick sighs and closes his eyes.

"I can't give you a proper answer. It's kind of like... I guess having an itch on your back; you know it's there somewhere and if you could find and reach the spot you'd know it exactly but without doing that it's just... There. Uh... Does that metaphor make sense to anyone else? It's just that I can feel that there is another one and maybe if I concentrate I could give a loose direction but anything more specific at this distance is impossible. Maybe I should of just kept quiet so none of you would be disappointed..."

Yaknow what, by this time Sandra and Vanessa return to the rest of the group and take in the scene.

"Oh heck yeah we've got a proper gang forming up aren't we?"

Kaito remained quiet and put his hand in his chin while thinking about what everyone said. He tried to remember if he knew anything about building some radar or tracker of some kind, but the only visions that flashed his mind that moment were about some kind of giant computer he had previously seen in the Transformation Anniversary dream, which, honestly, seemed worse every time he remembered it.

But then he recalled someone who could possibly help. Mr. Oliver from the Science Department. Kaito remembered him fixing a toaster with a box of scraps and a screwdriver, so maybe he could help.

"It's ok, I might know a guy who could build the radar, but we should tell everyone inside about the road trip too."

He then waves a hi to the newly arrived Sandra and Vanessa.

At Nick's explanation, the excited shine left Julius's eyes, and he shrank back in on himself. "O-oh..."

Oh, well, sucks to be you, let's go.

"You realize you're not getting anywhere, right?"

I can try.

Fortunately, Kaito apparently knew someone that could help, but they needed to tell everyone inside about the road trip first. Oh, and Sandra and a woman he didn't know had shown up too.

"H-hi," Julius said, waving at them. "Um...n-nice to meet you..." He looked at the other woman shyly.

Ito Household

Upon Nick admitting he isn't entirely sure, Gohan looks dejected.

"Oh...well at least it's...something. Uh...would you mind if I held onto this one? It...it was my dad's."

And then Kaito spoke up!

"You do?! That's...that's great! Maybe Mr. Tanaka should hold onto it then, so he can show his friend to build the radar!"

In his excitement, the kid completely skips over greeting Sandra and Vanessa. Rude!

Vanessa gave a curt wave back at the various greetings she had received.

"Hello. Are you Sandra's friends?"

"Hm? Oh, I guess you can have it back..."

With an almost melodramatic amount of hesitance Nick hands back the Dragon Ball.

"So. Road trip? What for, you guys figured out how we're fixing the multiverse?"

Ito Household

Gohan turns to Sandra and just abruptly blurts out:

“Well, we can ask Shenron to do it!”

...Who?

Ito Household

Nick's explanation made Spinel less excited. She was still pretty optimistic, though.

"Well, you still detected a Dragon Ball. It's better than nothing..."

Mr. Tanaka made a mention about a colleague of his who could probably be of great help for the road trip, though they needed to tell the others about him first...

The girl in pink enthusiastically waved at Sandra and Vanessa.

"We...kind of are, I guess", Spinel replied to Vanessa.

Julius and Gohan would also greet the two ladies in their own ways. However, as an answer to Sandra's question, Gohan blurted something she was noticeably unfamiliar with.

"Uh...Shenlong???", she asked in confusion, slightly butchering the new name she heard.

Ito Household

"No, Shenron! He's the dragon that comes out when you gather all seven Dragon Balls!"

Gohan stops for a second, thinking before his eyes light up.

"I just remembered that! The Balls summon Shenron and he's the one who grants your wish!"

"Shenron? As in, Divine Dragon?" Asks Kaito after hearing Gohan mention the name. "So we've got some Nansō Satomi Hakkenden beads and can summon a Dragon God out of them."

"May I hold the Dragon Ball to examine it as we enter?" Asks again Kaito.

"So we're gonna wish it all better? I mean valid but it just seems like a weird way of fixing things."

"Very well, we'll see this friend of yours about a detection system. Saves me having to disappoint on vague locationary powers I suppose."

Vanessa gave a curt nod and wandered over to the van.

"I'm not sure if we really are as powerful as Sandra thinks, but we must have hope that the world can be fixed."

"Multiverse. The multiverse can be fixed. The world's fine."

Ito Household

"Uh, sure..."

Gohan holds the Dragon Ball out to Kaito.

"I want to be the one holding onto them while we're looking, though...I think I remember how to summon the dragon, too, so I'll have to be the one to call him."
